The jolly Jaca, as it would be all too easy to call it, is a modernised hotel within the old town, where metered parking can be found in nearby streets - albeit it at busy times it might take a few minutes to do so. The big reception area is friendly and fresh, and in turned out the English-speaking receptionist used to work in London. Our single rooms were small but had big windows that gave out onto tiny balconies over the street, giving them plenty of light and air. The bathrooms were pleasantly over-sized compared to the sleeping area. Breakfast in a windowless basement space was pretty vin ordinaire. But the good thing is the proximity to local bars and restaurants, and a search here on Tripadvisor turns up some pretty fine ones just round the corner. Highly recommended for food and atmosphere is the tiny and locally highly popular La Tasca de Ana - in fact, for an authentic Spanish experience, and if you don't mind waiting a bit for a table, I wouldn't go anywhere else.||A final thought: quite why this hotel - good as it is - has 12 excellent ratings out of a total of 13 reviews at time of writing surprises me slightly.
