We called late and asked specifically for a quiet room. The check in process over the phone was a bit of a pain but the person on the phone was friendly and after 15min we could finally enter the hotel. What we got when we reached though was an extremely noisy room on the first floor facing the street with a window without soundproofing or outside blinds, I can hear every car passing and people talk in the street even with earplugs. At 8am on Saturday the cleaner starts her work, her local is just outside the room and we can hear absolutely everything. Cannot recommend this place to anyone with ears. Location is convenient but not particularly nice.

The location is great. Central, yet quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was really good as well. A lot of choices and everything is delicious. I only missed eggs. The only cons were: Most of the walls are dry walls and you can hear a lot from other rooms (luckily there were not many guests). A/c didn't work all night, only started to work in the morning. We kept the window open, but I am afraid of what will happen in summer.

The bed was terribly uncomfortable!! It felt like we were sleeping on springs. It needs to be replaced. That said, the staff were great and the location is ok, it’s near the plaza. The place was run-down for a Palacio. Such a bummer for the price.

Excellent location and even more excellent reception and help from receptionist Gabi. Very close by to wonderful square with lots of Cafes. Simply gorgeous part of the world and we’ve had a great time.!

Have stayed here on numerous occasions over the years whilst working locally. Staff, service, cleanliness are second to none and at under 50 Euros a night, you really can't complain.||Excellent WiFi (free), friendly, cozy bar/cafe - cannot comment on the restaurant as I've not eaten there. ||The staff could not do enough to make my stay more enjoyable, a fact I will be eternally grateful for.||Aviles itself is a great town with lot's of character. This hotel is literally 2 mins walk from the central square with restaurants, cafes, shows/festivals (on National Holidays). There is also a great park around 10 minutes walk away.

Hotel is very close to centre and shops. Very easy to find, but parking is an issue. They do have parking but find out where it is before you go, otherwise you will end up paying 5 euros more to park in the public car park. Room was clean and comfortable.

Overall: 4 stars; recommend staying if you are in this town.||Hotel room: 4 stars; very clean and clean floors and bed sheets. Looks like hardwood floors but they are laminate and have some wear/tear on them. Lift ceilings so be careful not to hit your head if you are tall. Loved the skylights that opened though for fresh air (stayed on 4th floor).||Bathroom: 4 stars for being clean and newer tub/toilet||Breakfast: wasn't included in our room price but they do have a standard breakfast buffet w hard boiled eggs. Croissants are more like danishes.||Location: 5 stars; next to Niemeyer and city center|

Stayed for 1 night during my Camino Norte hike. Spacious rooms, bathrooms with hairdryer, and I even had a small balcony overlooking the Niemeyer culture center. 2 min by foot to the main square. Reception closes at 9pm but they seem to have a call option 24/7. Overall an enjoyable stay
