Aldrovandi Villa Borghese

"This "intimate hotel that’s achingly gorgeous" sits between the greenery of the Borghese gardens and the Valle Giulia. "Beautifully put-together rooms" showcase traditional European design and have marble bathrooms with mosaics, as well as mirror TVs. The 1,620-square-foot Royal Suite, on the penthouse floor, has a separate living room, a capacious dressing room, and large windows that look out onto the private gardens and the pool. Chef Oliver Glowig serves contemporary Italian cuisine in his two Michelin-starred restaurant. The on-site spa features posh La Mer skincare products and steam baths."

We have stayed several times, and we are looking forward to returning. Perhaps the hotel management can give us some information as to when the grand re-opening will occur? thank you - a loyal customer

Fantastic Hotel in Rome with an exceptional service and breakfast! We stayed here for a few days pre-pandemic and had a lovely few days. The breakfast room was fabulous, overlooking the garden and the pool area. The hotel is slightly away from the historical part of the city but thanks to that it was more quiet and relaxing and there was a complimentary van service that would drop you off in the centre of Rome so you were still close by if you wanted to have a dinner in the centre or spend your day visiting all the attractions.

Excellent service, polite, knowledgeable staff. Very good breakfast buffet. They have a nice golf cart shuttle that goes around the park. Pool in a private garden setting, comfortable and quite. Not near the "Center" of town, will need taxie or shuttle.

Great hospitality and impeccable service. The rooms are huge! The old-fashioned style hotel. The small garden in the hotel is a great place to sit and with your favorite book. Spa has great range of treatments with top quality products from local brand or internationally recognized cult-favorites. Gym is small but has all the things that you’ll need. The facility is spotless clean, no stinky gym smell, and all the machines are not outdated. All by technogym and they have power plate! Towels, water and apples with honey are provided. A great stay. Deserve a return.

This hotel is fantastic. There's a complimentary shuttle to the Spanish steps and great cocktails and nibbles in the courtyard in the evening. The service was flawless and they can arrange any trips you'd like. I'd give more than five stars if I could!

This beautiful hotel and their attentive staff made our honeymoon experience and first time in Italy so special! The location of this hotel is close to the tourist areas but it’s located far away that it still feels quiet and secure. The hotel shuttle service that they offer is very convenient and helps you get around the city. We will definitely visit again on our next European adventure!

Wonderful room and fantastic service. This 5 star hotel is no joke. If you want to be treated well while listening to lions roaring outside of your window (no, seriously...f-ing lions at the zoo across the street) this is the place to be. We spent our last week of our honeymoon here and it was easily the best service of all of our great hotels across Europe. I would recommend to anyone.

Amazing and beautiful hotel!!!! First of all- the location- by the Borghese garden park, was perfect. Love the quiet atmosphere and the chance to relax by the pool between all the sightseeing is- SO NICE! We loved the fact that our hotel was not right in the middle of the city. They had a hotel car that went every half hour closer to the center if you don´t want to walk through the park. (Park is well used by all the locals and is very safe) The staff are wonderful and helpful. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were first class. It is so nice to be able to have the choice of eating at the hotel and knowing everything will be perfect! We are coming back to Rome and staying here again.

Yelp
Room was very spacious but the location is not accommodating. Transportation was a bit difficult and no restaurant near.

Yelp
This was a last minute decision for our last night in Rome and we are so glad we ended up here. The hotel upgraded us to a larger room and the lady who checked us in was the definition of A+ hospitality. As soon as we arrived in our rental car, a bellman opened our doors and took out all of our luggage to bring up to the room for us. They even have a shuttle for FREE every 30 minutes to a specific drop off. (It was by all the designer stores). We decided to share a burger from the "American bar" and it was pretty good! Very expensive. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. Will definitely be back! Thanks for the memorable stay.

Yelp
This place is top notch. After the slight disappointment of the pool not being open for the season, absolutely every aspect of our stay was fantastic. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The spa has all the essentials - beautiful well stocked changing rooms, a jacuzzi, two steam rooms, and a sauna. Plenty of towels and robes. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms have marble floors and bathrooms. The amenities are high quality. They clean the room in the morning and neaten up again at turn down. They provided us with the newspaper of our choice. They even called out and had pizza delivered to the hotel late night when we couldn't find a place that was open. Free bikes. Minor improvements - The room had a slightly strange smell. The breakfast had all the right elements, but frankly, the food could be a bit better. Post on the website when the pool is open/closed. Great hotel!

Yelp
Though it's not in the very center of Rome, but it's close to famous Villa Borghese and they have shuttle bus cruising to Piazza Di Spagna according to it's schedule if you don't want to walk. Marvellous hotel building, ancient one - of the 19th century, where used to be an abbey. They have an outdoor pool surrounded with gorgeous trees where you can relax and forget the noise and craziness of the big city. Great breakfast, featuring their local sparkling wine, smoked salmon and all other typical morning delights. There are two restaurants that are worth trying too for dinner, delicious. Or concierge can advise you other tasty places and make a reservation for you. Room service of course. They have couple of rooms with a terrace on the roof and few beautiful cozy suits. SPA featuring La Mer products. And a fitness center which I never tried, cause there is a magnificent park right next to the hotel where you can enjoy a beautiful run or endless quay few blocks away. Everything is very elegant and chic. Quiet isolated luxury place, excellent for couples or families and business trips too.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel in a cleaner, quieter area of Rome. This was our first stop on our honeymoon and it was perfect. There is a large, secluded pool area where we relaxed on our first day. The staff set us up with an incredible room with a private terrace. Although not in the center of things, you can arrange for a shuttle (basically an extended golf cart) from the hotel to the Spanish Steps and back at the front desk. Great experience. I would definitely go back.
