The hotel itself has a beautiful location and the staff is very nice. It was also a nice surprise to get a pitcher of herbal tea before bed and the breakfast and breakfast staff was outstanding. We had 2 rooms with a rate of almost 700 euros each per night and were very surprised to find notes in the room saying the toiletries (that are usually always provided free of charge) cost around 10 euro for 40 ml and not to remove it from the room. Makes you wonder if they refill the tiny bottles? It made us uncomfortable and we didnt touch the shampoo or conditioner. Not what you expect when you pay this much . Other than that the beds were comfortable, rooms spacious and the breakfast buffet very varied and good.

We had a great 2 night stay here in a grand deluxe room. It was our second time staying and as before the staff was all really nice and helpful. The nighttime tea was a really nice touch, as was the birthday cake for my husband. We had a room with a view of the city (which is street facing). From the 6th floor there wasn’t much noise, but if you want a very quiet room then you probably want an Atrium facing room. ||The pool and sauna is really nice with great city views as well. Breakfast is expensive but worth doing for at least one day, it’s a really nice place to sit and the service was great and the selection was large. ||Housekeeping was so quick with any request too. Overall it’s a more expensive Marriott option in Yerevan, but a very nice hotel.

Ever thought your life was too good to be true? Don’t worry, there’s a cure for this called the Alexander hotel Yerevan. One night here and you’ll wonder what crime you committed in a past life to be treated by such rude, and arrogant staff, in what is a 3 star hotel trying to punch well above its weight. And if you think being part of the Marriott elite brigade will help in your hour of need, oh no dear reader, think again. Once corporate collects their partner fee, job done and you’re flying solo. Perhaps this explains why some of the old guard are selling up and getting out whilst they can. The Alexander delights with rude arrogant staff, broken doors, dirty floors, closed facilities, misplaced hire car and that was after waiting an hour past the advertised check in time because …..they only start preparing a room once you arrive. But wait, there’s an upside! Complimentary stale cookies and a manager who makes Pinocchio look like a flat faced Persian cat. No doubt there'll be the usual diatribe response, promising better, premium and reassuring exceptional on your next visit. And there’s the con. Offer mistreated clients everything but the kitchen sink, knowing they can’t accept given the high cost to return to the country, thereby ‘appearing’ willing and holier than all, but in reality orchestrating nothing more than a street hustle. Marriott shares ride high, but with such pirate behaviour below decks, how long until this ship is bid bon voyage from investors portfolios?

My second time staying at the hotel, no complaints about the quality, however, read on.||⚠️ WARNING: ALEXANDER HOTEL, YEREVAN ⚠️||I stayed at the Alexander Hotel in Yerevan in early June, and $8,400 in cash was stolen from my locked luggage inside my room.||This was clearly a professional job—there were no signs of forced entry or tampering. Whoever did it had time to go through my belongings and apparently had access to a TSA master key, since the lock was opened without damage.||I won't go into every detail here, but given the circumstances, I strongly suspect organized theft potentially involving hotel staff or security.||Be extremely careful. If you have to stay at the Alexander Hotel, do not leave any valuables in your room.||Please share this so others can avoid the same experience.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Alexander in Armenia! From the moment we landed, everything was taken care of — the pickup service from and to the airport was smooth, professional, and set the tone for an amazing trip. A special thank you to Areg and Ruben from the guest relations team — they went above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration memorable and arranged amazing tours that made our trip even more special. The restaurant team was warm and welcoming, and the front desk staff, especially Mr. Hayk, were incredibly helpful and kind. The room service team also deserves praise — they were attentive, detailed, and kept our room spotless throughout our stay. You can tell the staff here really care about every little detail. The hotel itself is clean, elegant, and located perfectly in the heart of Yerevan. If you’re looking for a luxurious yet friendly place to stay, I highly recommend Hotel Alexander. Thank you for a beautiful experience!

The pool and sauna facilities on the 11th floor were superb. ||So was the service of the staff at the pool—very courteous and kind. The place was immaculate.||I did not stay at the hotel, but instead opted to purchase a 5-day pass from the Spa Office located on the -3 Floor.
