Hotel Alexandra

A very cordial and warmly run hotel.|Small but nice with staff who read your wishes from your lips.|Really highly recommended!|A 10-minute walk from the centre. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. And not far from good shopping facilities (Denner and Migros).

i stayed in room 24, it was super loud. i got late checkout but the cleaners started cleaning at 9am and were extremely loud. it’s also right by the road and not soundproof at all. ALSO!! be aware THE WIFI DOES NOT WORK at this hotel, and cell service is slow. i tried walking around and nothing changed. so dissatisfied with the amount i spent. breakfast was typical but nothing special. i won’t be coming back

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The staff was unbelievably friendly and flexible to our requests and arriving times. It's has a nice boutique-y feeling and is freshly renovated. It's small, quiet, quite central and has its own charm. The room we were in was small but it met our needs for the weekend we were visiting. We also had a nice view! We would definitely book this again when we go back.

Excellent hotel, clean, lovely people. Great breakfast, very attentive, provided gluten free bread rolls which was a nice touch. Highly recommended. Easy access from train station on 1 bus, just two stops.

Really nice hotel, clean and super close to Locarno train station and the lake front. We stayed in the economy rooms with shared bathroom and that was also super clean so can recommend. Breakfast is great with good coffee.

5 stars for a 3-star hotel. Nothing grand, but they've recently remodeled and really did a very nice job. We even stayed on the top floor with a shared bathroom and it worked out great. And Luigi is very attentive and friendly. The breakfast spread is great and he even takes individual drink orders. Parking available. Not right in the center of town, but just a short walk away. Highly recommended.

We spent 3 nights in this charming hotel and we felt like at home. ||A wonderful house, perfect and clean rooms, very close to the center (10 minutes walk or 2 minutes by bus just in front of the hotel) and 100% dedicated staff.||||Our daughter was sick one day, Luigi and the lady working with him were so nice and helpful. You do not find this in standard hotel. Many thanks again.

Great hotel. Very friendly staff. Undercover parking at the rear. Great breakfast. Clean and modern interior. Beautiful building completely renovated. Close to the center of town. Highly recommend.
