What a find! Beautiful place and lovely people. The hotel has deep culture and an abundance of character. From the subtle touches around the hotel to the friendliness of the owners, we had a wonderful time there. We felt at peace - which is the best recommendation I can give! Thank you.

A 400 year old renovated villa, peaceful, with character and charme: The Location is convenient, Room is spacious, bathroom huge with amazing mosaic tiles, 6 guest rooms only(?), crazy ambience , artpieces all over the property and an amazing friendly, welcoming owner. Jordi has given us a short guide on some history of the artist and one of the main paintings, a great explanation on the city’s map and some of the recommended restaurants and places to go. He guided me through smoking area, pool, coffee/tea and other art pieces, and even granted me permission to park in front of his own garage a few meters away from the hotel, in case the dedicated spots are taken ( by non hotel guests in that case). Even without Spanish spoken from my side, we managed to communicate with help of one of the guys working here. The Rooms furniture is well maintained, the bed is comfortable and it is overall a very pleasant and calm night. Apart from ( not for me ) the potentially annoying church bells and the school closeby, I’d give 6/5 for this effort and unique stay. The views from the room “La Palma” are breathtaking, and there is also a pool, a sauna and a jacuzzi available upon request.

Wonderful hotel with great character and facilities. The owner was extremely helpful and highly knowledgeable about the town and the island. The rooms are spacious with wonderful bathrooms. Breakfast is included in the price and delicious. Good value and very comfortable.

This hotel and it's staff deserve 5+ stars. The rooms are spacious and each room provides a spectacular view. You either can enjoy the sunrise or sunset. The bathroom are luxurious in it's dimensions. A specialty for me was the on-demand sauna, which was prepared for a small additional charge. The sauna is very nice and could host up to 4 person's. It also close to the small outdoor area with pool. In front of the hotel are 3 designated parking spots so traveling here was no problem. The streets of the city are narrow so some skills are required. The breakfast is not pompous but satisfies all desires. A special feast is the selfmade cake.

What an absolute gem. All the rooms are beautifully decorated, with many period features and flooring making it a stunning place to stay. Our bedroom was very large with great views towards the coast and the volcano Teide, and a magnificent bathroom. There are a number of lovely living rooms and a decent pool and outside garden area. This was a perfect place to stay and explore the great town of La Orotava and area, especially the National Park and the volcano Teide.....a must visit. It's only B&B with a basic continental breakfast, but that was fine as you are spoilt for choice with so many great value restaurants and cafes close by. Loved it, felt like a 5 🌟 stay.

This really is a wonderful building, it’s surprisingly big considering there are just a few guest rooms. We felt like we were staying in a home rather than a hotel which is what we prefer. Albeit a vast moorish / colonial home! ||We were encouraged to make ourselves at home and even play their piano and guitar if we wished! ||The bedroom (fuerteventura) was very large as was the en-suite (shower only), with both having fabulous views down to the coast and up to Teide. I always think a loo with a view is a plus! ||The hosts were welcoming and keen to show and explain the art in the house. ||Breakfast was sufficient to set us up for the day and had everything we expected in a continental breakfast.||The pool was being repaired, to be fair it’s small and outdoors so as it wasn’t that warm it wouldn’t have been that enticing anyway. There is also a small garden area that we didn’t use.||The parking was very much appreciated. La oratava is a steep and historic place which has narrow streets and limited parking, combined with a lot of traffic. The hotel thankfully has 3 spaces for guests outside the door. We left it there throughout our 2 night stay and explored the area on foot.||It’s a relaxing place to stay and one that deserves far more than 2 stars. ||

The house is magnificent and the attention to every detail is outstanding. We have really enjoyed staying here - it is more like staying in a private mansion than an hotel. Thank you for looking after us so well. The whole experience has far exceeded our expectations.

We stayed for 3 nights in late September. Our primary reason for choosing this hotel/town was its proximity to El Teide mountain which is about an hour drive from town. Our room was on the main floor overlooking the pool. It was comfortable and had a nice bathroom. It was still quite warm in September so we had to keep the windows open at night. Unfortunately this invited the mosquitoes in and we were kept up pretty late at night trying to kill them! I wish more European countries used screens!||||The only reason I didn't give it 5-stars was because we ended up renting a car to drive to the town and there are only 3 parking spots for the hotel for about six rooms. If we went anywhere in the evening, there was never parking when we came back at night and it is nearly impossible to find parking in the town. We found it to be very stressful.||||We were also subject to a painting tour exclusively in Spanish which mostly fell upon deaf ears since neither I nor my boyfriend speaks fluent Spanish, which was conveyed to the hotel owner. The doorbell/lock situation is also a bit quirky. Probably wouldn't stay here again but enjoyed our visit.
