Hotel Allamanda Aoyama is, hands down, my new Tokyo happy place. From the moment I stepped in, the service was so smooth and attentive it made me wonder if they’d read my mind. The rooms? Think cloud-level comfort with all the thoughtful amenities you’d hope for (plus a few you didn’t know you needed). The location hits that sweet spot — close enough to the action so you can dive right in, but tucked away just enough to recharge in peace. Out of everywhere I stayed on this trip, Allamanda Aoyama takes the crown — no contest.

Very good hotel! Staff is really friendly. I saw a lot of comments about the breakfast. We really liked it, but I guess a lot of people expect a buffet. This is more like a restaurant with a few option to choose from. We took the Japanese style breakfast everyday for more than a week and loved it.

The hotel is conveniently situated next to the Gaiemmae Station along the Ginza line and it takes only 45 minutes from the Haneda Airport. It is within walking distance to the National Stadium and also a baseball stadium. |The staff are friendly and helpful. However, there is only one Japanese restaurant serving noodle around the hotel and a few western cafe. There is also no buffet breakfast in the hotel too so not too convenient for dinning.

The location is a home run here. On the Tokyo Metro, quick to Shibuya or Ginza but not very touristy location with all the things you need very close. The rooms felt a little dated but they were very comfortable and clean. Price was a bit high but worth it in the end. Also near the baseball stadium! Breakfast here was fantastic.

I stayed here with my family. The room was quite spacious, and although it was said to be for 4 people, there was also a large sofa, so it could accommodate about 6 people. The room was bright with large windows. We had a full view of the Chichibu Palace, and in the morning we could clearly see the turf being maintained. The thrust of this room is the private sauna, which is a small sauna filled with ‼️2 people, but it was nice to be able to use it freely at any time I wanted. We also went to the other hot tub facilities that were available for members to use.I don't have a picture of this one, but there was a swimming pool, a large bath, and a sauna.Since we used it in the morning, there was no one there and we were allowed to rent it out in luxury. Breakfast was a set menu at the restaurant on the top floor with a view of the Chichibu Palace.Porridge was self-serve and free. I thought it was a mature hotel with a slightly different atmosphere from the latest foreign-affiliated hotels. As one would expect from a prime location in Aoyama, I thought.

I tried cancelling 3 months in advance of my reservation and they didn’t refund me anything. Basically, I had a health issue that prevented me to travel. I reached out to them and they denied the cancellation. Very greedy and not accommodating.

The room was large, old (luxury) but very clean. Staff were really good. The spa and pool was better than expected. The only thing that really let this hotel down was the breakfast. Salad, mixed fruit, sweet potato soup and a choice of (croissant with sausage, eggs Benedict and something else). I had an eggs Benedict and it was the worse thing I have tasted in a long time. Who serves salad for breakfast? (no bread counter, no self serve at all) Happy all together, but the breakfast if I could rate would be 0/5. We are English so we politely ate some of it.
