Small room with all the amenities, but just so very cosy. Adjoining balcony, small fridge and ample storage space for whatever you carry. Well appointed room creates that special atmosphere. Attentive, helpful staff and fabulous continental ++ breakfast completed an enjoyable stay.

A great Hotel and close to Mt Etna. The hosts are very friendly and the room was very clean and we had a view of the bay of Catania from our window. We will certainly stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very accommodating and the light breakfast offered was a perfect start to the day. The location was very convenient and within walking distance to the Piazza. If we return to Nicolosi, we definitely will be staying there again. The Brunos. Washington,DC

A nice, cute hotel in Nicolosi. Helpful staff, that were available whenever we needed something. A good location, it was quiet, but still close to the city center. The breakfast had a small selection, but it was still good! The rooms were nice as well, but the air conditioning and bathroom made a lot of sound. Would have booked here again if I was coming back to Nicolosi

We chose this hotel for its value and proximity to the Etna parkrun - just half an hour's walk or 5 minutes drive up Monti Rossi. As it turned out it was a lovely little hotel with charming and helpful hosts. ||We were offered a room with ensuite as complimentary upgrade although we'd booked a cheaper room, which was kind. The room had a high ceiling and view over the entrance and of Etna's snowcapped peak. An almost alpine feeling here as throughout Nicolosi - which is a really nice small town.||Comments about the room... We couldn't work out the air conditioning and although it's only late April we needed it! Was warm in the night and had to open the window right up to let the breeze through the shutter. And with the window open you are then conscious of intermittent traffic passing all night long. So you may want to check how the AC works when you are shown your room! The shower was small but good enough. The tap water tasted desalinated- a bit nasty- so strong advice is to buy a big bottle of mineral water before your arrival.||Wi-Fi was available but not strong - I turned it off in favour of mobile data. Three plug points in room for charging phone - bring standard European adapter.||For parkrunners, you can squeeze in a quick coffee at 8am but it's hard to fit breakfast in. The host kindly made us fresh coffee when we got back about 10am but then we had to shower and check out .||While in Nicolosi, visit the Volcano museum. It's tiny but informative. They can talk you through things in English. ||We ate at Chianini (separately reviewed) which was absolutely amazing value for really good steak! €40 Euros per kilo for rib on the bone and the local house red was very good!!

Stayed here on a business trip to Nicolosi. It is a family run hotel and our hosts were friendly and accommodating. We would have liked the ability to make tea in our room but like many continental hotels this isn't an option. Wifi was fine and there is off-street parking. The town centre is a short distance (600m) away.

Salvatore couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming. Our room was perfectly comfortable, and clean. Shower water hot, although small. Salvatore made us a jug of hour milk to go with our morning coffee and breakfast was plentiful in typical Italian style. We enjoyed a walk up to Mt Rossi to have a view of Etna and the recommendation for dinner at L' osteria sicilliana was superb. We were treated to excellent local cuisine and wine followed by complimentary biscotti and delicious almond wine. Very handy position for a drive up to Etna in the morning which was well worth the € 30 up in the funivia to 2,500 m. Salvatore gave us vouchers for a panini which was surprisingly good too. |Thoroughly recommend for a night if visiting Etna for an early start which is sensible given the cloud later in the day.

We stopped by chance as it was raining heavily and needed somewhere to sleep overnight.||||During our stay we happened to meet most of the family that runs this hotel. All so wonderful and nice people.||||The hotel was very clean, warm rooms and good breakfast. Will definitely keep in mind for next time we visit.
