Good hotel around 10 minutes walk from the Abbey. Friendly staff, plenty of choice at breakfast and a good roof top terrace bar.

Stayed here on business for four nights. I chose the basic room which had a shared showeroom and toilet. Wasn’t an issue for me as I had my own sink in my room. This was a very keenly priced small room which suited my needs. I did get bitten by a mosquito which I wasn’t expecting in this part of the world.|The location is very rural. There are three very large dining areas one of which is outside. I saw lots of facilities for people of all ages which makes it great for families.|The WiFi connection was brilliant so I was able to catch up with emails in the evening without issue.|The staff are fantastic. The guy in reception spoke really good English and was able to assist with all my enquiries. I was offered a room change if I didn’t like the shared bathroom but it wasn’t a problem for me. |There is plenty of free parking but there are currently roadworks at the bottom of the road I used to get to the hotel which on one occasion was completely blocked at one end. However I discovered that if you turn left when exiting the hotel you can get back to the main road that way instead. Follow it to what looks like a dirt track going through someone’s farm. I know it was ok to do this as I saw other cars doing it. Bit narrow so take it slow.|The food in the restaurant was wonderful. At breakfast I noticed a selection of lactose free items. I rarely see this in hotels so five stars for having this available for those that need it.||I really enjoyed my stay and would happily visit again.

We are very satisfied with our stay in this hotel. It is a very good price-quality ratio. It is located in a beautiful location surrounded by nature, Zurich, Lucerne and other destinations we planned to visit were easily accessible by car. The breakfast is quite solid, and the staff (both at the reception and in the restaurant during breakfast) is very friendly. Also, the highlight of our stay - both the room and everything else in the hotel was impeccably clean.

Overall, it is a hotel that offers a lot, with absolutely honest rates. The silence, tranquility and peace of the location in the greenery, the ample free parking, the large park, the very varied buffet breakfast included in the price, the large solarium terrace are all characteristics that can be found simply by visiting the website of the hotel. What you discover only by coming there are the splendid human relationships that are established with all the people who work there and who literally care about the well-being of the guests. Unfortunately I had to come to this splendid Swiss canton not for holiday or work, but to have my dog treated in a famous veterinary oncology center not far from the hotel. Every day those who met me asked me about my dog, worried about how she was and tried to help me in every way to have as little discomfort as possible in a moment in my life that was certainly not easy. I don't want to name anyone, I just want to thank all the staff for their great dedication to their work and above all for their sensitivity

First of all, the room was really nice, and the staff was friendly. BUT, if you are vegetarian, you'll not be really happy with what you get for food. Vegetarian here is often just understood as regular without meet. Also, stuff like polenta and risotto was basically just dry, and lacking any herbs and spices (I do not consider salt as a spice). The location is somehow nice because you can reach hiking trails from here quite quickly, but on the other hand, it is not anywhere with a nice view or especially calm. Furthermore, it really sucks if you have a workshop and the internet is not working, and the mobile reception is very weak.

It's a great, clean, modern hotel with friendly staff and a very good restaurant. We didn't get any sleep though because we were up all night both nights hunting mosquitos. They just kept coming. We're not sure where they all came from since the windows were opened only a little and curtains were closed.||||Well located in central Switzerland near the Sattelegg pass and of course the Kloster Einsiedeln.

This Hotel is just perfect for a weekend, or a long stay! It has sleek, simple clean lines in decoration, big modern bathroom and bedroom. Very sincere and friendly staff, always ready to go that extra mile!|For breakfast, I asked for lactose free food. Not really expecting to receive a positive answer like many of the hotels we have visited! But to our very pleasant surprise, we were told by a shy young lady who was preparing the final touches to today's breakfast that there were mango lactose free yogurt. She brought out lactose free cheesespread plus lactose free milk! I was blown away! The first in many hotels in Switzerland or for that matter worldwide! |I will definitely be using this hotel again! I do recommend it for young people traveling in groups! There is a huge room eith a small "Kegelbahn" sort of swiss bowling, a billard table. Darts and other indoor games for teens and young adults. |There are books to read and of course nature around this little hotel. This hotel is run by the famous monastery here. |Here are some pictures.
