We stayed in Bunganvilia for three nights which worked well for 3 people, and the live band at a bar next door was very loud. Barking dogs kept us up the third night, then we had to move for our last night into #3 where it was quieter but the bathroom ceiling leaked. The loud dripping noise made us tell the front desk. They said someone will take a look asap. No apologies offered as we checked out the next day - rather disinterested staff

Evening host less than helpful answering questions. Spoke No English. It was cold this week, heater in room worthless no heat coming out. Zero. Shower drain gurgled everytime other guests flushed toilets, had no choice but listen to it and sewer gasses came up thru shower drain into our room. No remedy offered, just the way it is. Stainless shower drain not attached to floor just sitting there. Bump it while showering and you'd cut your foot on sharp tile edges and could break your ankle. The side walks are bad enough without having these problems brought into my expensive room. Grounds kept well. Maid swiped hair dryer we were using during our stay and took it to front desk midweek. Had to go get it back with wet hair. She went thru our closet where the hair dryer was stored and rifled thru our medications and an envelope full of tip money hidden in my personal luggage. No telling what she may have taken. PRIVACY VIOLATED. Knowing when your neighbors are flushing their toilets throughout the night and having to listen to it will eventually drive you crazy and make you unhappy. THATS WHERE I AM TONIGHT AS I WRITE THIS REVIEW. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, WILL NOT COME BACK EVEN AT HALF PRICE.

Great little hotel. We stayed in Room 3 which is on the ground floor. It was quiet at night and maybe 50 metres from the water and main strip. Highly recommend this place.

Spent three nights at this hotel while on a trip around BCS. This hotel is basically a rebranding of a previous one. You are not choosing this hotel for extra comfy rooms or similar things. It's placed in a very good position by which you can walk to the city centre in a couple of minutes walk and the prices are reasonably good. What I found a little uncomplying was the lack of reception personnel during nighttime. Guests are given keys of the rooms and an entry gate, so in case you need something during the night, you need to wait for the morning. Except for this the room is medium sized, with a small lcd tv, a bathroom with everything you may need and a cool little terrace on top of the building on which is possible to see some very beautiful sunsets. Personnel is very helping, but I would recommend this structure for a couple of nights, nothing more.

I had the best room with the large balcony and it was spacious and lovely. My rental car was parked outside the door and the spot was safe and easy to get as well as maintain during my stay. The cost for quality, service and location is unbeatable.

Spent 4 nights here. Very quaint hotel. All the upstairs rooms had a balcony that had a view of the ocean. All the rooms had different pricing. Rooms 1 and 7 were next to the water pump that beeped sometimes. All the staff we encountered were very nice and spoke some English. Within walking distance of Cortez Marina and right across the street from the malecon.

The malecon can get a little noisy at times, so I was pleasantly surprised that being a half block off of the malecon really made it a lot more quiet. The staff is friendly and one staff member in particular (I forgot his name!) was fluent in English and went out of his way to help secure me some tours for me very last minute. ||||The rooms are basic but clean enough. I had a king bedroom on the bottom floor. The air conditioner worked well and the TV also worked and had cable (so you can watch football and other sports if you want). The bed was comfortable enough (a little firm but not uncomfortable). They also offer drinking water (and you can grab more in the lounge at any time). They had two night lights for reading that also came in handy. ||||Two things that I'd love for them to improve on: ||1) General cleanliness. My bathroom shower had hair from another guest on the shower wall. The floor of my bathroom also had many dead insects on the floor, which meant that they didn't sweep the floor after the last guests checked out.||2) More amenities in the room. It's a very basic room and I'm not sure I could stay more than a couple of days here since my room had no fridge or coffee pot etc (I love making tea at night).

I had slight reservations about this place - having read some of the reviews. Thank fully I was pleasantly surprised. I stayed in a small upstairs room (Syros) with a lovely little balcony - sadly no sea views. However, the view across the court yard was very pleasant. The room was clean and the bed was fine. Nice hot shower too. I ended up staying on four occasions at this hotel. The breakfast is excellent and so is the evening meal at Restaurant Zoe - run by the same people. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Both Samantha and Haciel helped me practise my Spanish. My only suggestion is with regards to the coffee at breakfast. After one cup you are charged for refills. EVERYWHERE else in Mexico you get unlimited top ups. Apart from that, everything else was absolutely perfect. The Malecon is close by and a great place to people watch and strut your stuff.
