Such a nice hotel at a perfect location with a great view!! The room is so clean, perfect size for myself, comfortable bed. I was lucky to get a room with a view of Siena Duomo. Service is great, they store your luggage if you arrive early and they have a vending machine inside, which is convenient. Breakfast is so fresh with good variety of choices. Close to everything and it’s easy to come back to have a rest if you’re tired after lots of walking. Highly recommend if you stay in Siena!!

Lovely hotel. Brillant location. View from top floor rooms amazing. Very clean. Breakfast good. Excellent value for money. Only one issue don't stay there if there a concert in the square below. It could go on till 2 in the morning and it can be very very noisy

Great location. Don't worry if you don't have a view, just get a cocktail at the Pomodorino restaurant opposite. We didn't fret too much about all the parking instructions they sent, we just went to the pay parking next to the Fortezza and walked down the hill for 10 mins. (Easy if you don't have too many suitcases)

We had a great stay at Hotel Alma Domus. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the main attractions. The breakfast was good, and the overall experience was very pleasant. We highly recommend this hotel!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel - everything went perfectly from beginning to end. The view from our room, right in the heart of Siena, was absolutely breathtaking. The location is ideal, in the Contrada dell'Oca, just a 5-minute walk from Piazza del Campo. Breakfast was complete and had plenty of options — more than enough to start the day. I would have just preferred it to end a bit later, as 10 a.m. might feel early for those tired from traveling. The room was clean and modern, and the staff were friendly and always available. I totally recommend this hotel!

Lovely hotel in the heart of Siena, next to the sanctuary of Santa Caterina da Siena. The breakfast is rich, delicious and fresh. Friendly ladies will also bring you a cappuccino or espresso carefully prepared by the barista (the American coffee and drinks are self-service). The rooms are essentially equipped, clean and the heating is excellent (beyond expectations in january 2025). Some rooms have view on the magnificent Siena Cathedral. This is underlined in the room description. The staff is friendly and you can hear the beautiful, slightly rustling Italian language in the heart of Tuscany. The entire historic center is within walking distance. Together with all ell known locations to see like Cathedral and Sala della Pace IN I recommend for visiting a hidden gem of Siena: The Basilica of San Clemente in Santa Maria dei Servi and Monumental complex Santa Maria della Scalla (hit-Pilgrims Hall).

We loved our stay here. The hotel has a great location and views. The bed was very comfy and the air conditioning worked well. The staff is all friendly and helpful. Breakfast had plenty of options to please any appetite. I would highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Nice room. Nice location. and, as Rick Steves put it, "for a steal"!!. Alma Domus is a GREAT option for staying in Siena. Pros: the PRICE!!! - 75euro per night for our stay. wow. Great Location. very close to San Domenico's church and several restaurants (though a short walk to Il Campo where the evening action is, it's still a totally conveninent location b/c you SHOULD be walking around Siena!) They have several rooms w/ incredible views of the city. First come first serve so book early! Our double room w/ private bath was clean, comfortable and had a better private bathroom than i was expecting (separately enclosed shower, not the size of a tin can, etc) It's a converted convent so don't expect the W hotel Nice buffet breakfast included (pastries, yogurt, coffee/espresso, nuuutelllaaaa, and fruit) Conveniently bookable online/via email. internet access in a common room for a couple euros. Cons: Walls are thin. I could hear a couple talking next door at night but, happily buzzed on red wine, I fell asleep anyways Front desk personnel are polite but not friendly. They answer questions but dont offer up much more. not really a con but just an FYI, We were younger than the average guest by a good 30 years. Lots of senior citizens with their valuables in a pouch wrapped around their neck. Just saying.. You're going to be spending a lot in Italy. Hotels, trains, food. Save a little and stay here. You get great quality for what you pay.

Yelp
"LOCATION... LOCATION... LOCATION!!!" This was our second stay at The Alma Domus, and the first since they remodeled half of the rooms... And they did a fabulous job!!! We stayed at the Alma Domus for few nights back in 2010 and promised ourselves we'd go back... We just stayed for 2 nights in mid-June 2015 and it was incredible!!! Our small group of 12 booked six of the larger remodeled rooms on the top floor with the views of the historic center and the Duomo and we were blown away!!! So location is the #1 reason to stay at The Alma Domus, just a 2-3 minute walk to Piazza del Campo... and Incredible Value is reason #2. The newly remodeled rooms and bathrooms are wonderfully appointed for a hotel in this price range!!! We had large superior triple rooms in the mid june high season for 110 euro and quad rooms for 125 euro... all with views, balconies, air-conditioning, and breakfast!!! I don't think you can find better value in Siena with this location, the charm and quaintness, and the amenities... Both the bathroom amenities(shampoo, soap, etc) and the free breakfast are very basic but fully adequate... If you can't live without your L'Occitane shampoo, and french milled soap, bring your own... Breakfast is simple but nice; juices, coffees, teas, cappuccino, espresso, croissants, pastries, cereals, fresh fruits, yogurts, sweet cakes, etc... The staff at the hotel was so friendly & helpful to our little group of friends and we found this hotel to be just magical... Waking up to the morning church bells just adds to the magic!!! Thanks Alma Domus for a truly wonderful stay, we'll be back soon!!!

Yelp
What a find! In the heart of Siena, just below the Santa Caterina church and a stone's throw from the main Cathedral, sits this beautiful, recently remodeled little jewel. Our family with two adults and two children got a spacious, modern room with a view-to-die-for over the Cathedral for just E120 -- breakfast included! Super nice staff, and parking located about a 10-min. walk near the stadium. (If you drive in to the hotel, be sure to tell the staff so that they record your license number to avoid a ticket from the traffic cameras overlooking the restricted access to the city center.) Restaurants and shops nearby, and a 15-min. walk to the Cathedral.

Yelp
Everyone has written glowing reviews for this "hotel." It is a great bargain, centrally located in Siena. But don't be fooled.... this is run more like a hostel or a B&B than a hotel. The nuns may have believed in mortification of the flesh, but after a day of trudging up and down the hills and cobblestones of Siena, we needed a good night's sleep, and the thin mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. Note that the sheets and towels are replaced (if requested) every three days. The breakfast was basically yogurt and coffee. This is strictly "no-frills." If this is what you are looking for, it is fine. Maybe you will have that spiritual experience! I wanted a better night's sleep!

Yelp
Excellent location, charming staff and a very reasonable price are all reasons why I would recommend staying at the Almadomus. Not to mention there was a gorgeous view of il Duomo and the city rooftops from our room. The owner took excellent care of us and it was a real gem to spend a couple nights here and would absolutely come back on our next trip.
