Hotel Almira

We stayed for a day, and it was the perfect location. The hotel provides free parking space for the guests, which is really convenient. Checking in and out was problem free, and the rooms were true to the pictures that we saw before. We had a great view of our surroundings from the balcony, and the main attractions were near. Overall, it was the perfect place for our quick visit to this beautiful town.

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Almira. It's on the doorstep of the old town. Great location, the rooms were clean, and the young lady at reception is super helpful.

Very kind staff, rooms on the second floor are with the most stunning views. Our room was very big, warm and clean. The design of the room is very cute and with pattern of the local culture, antique furniture and interesting safe, shelves in the wall. Breakfast was good, but lack of variety, despite that they make fresh omelette just for you, and good coffee. Free parking. Unfortunately we forgot our favorite slippers at the room, they were blue.

I had a good stay at this hotel! It’s perfectly located just a short walk from the Old Bridge and surrounded by a variety of restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I truly appreciated the balance between price and the quality of what was offered. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

I am sorry that it has taken me so long to write a review of Hotel Almira in Mostar and that it will be a bit long but well worth the read. When I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by 2 young ladies with smiles like I was a long lost friend. Originally I planned on 2 days but ended up with 4 in total. Everyone there answered all my questions and requests for help with the same joy. The hotel could not be better situated as it’s only minute or two from the old bridge, restaurants and shops. Their buffet breakfast was the most varied and best that I had in traveling the Balkans for 3 weeks and of all time! But it was my last morning that they really shined brighter than any place before. My plan was to take the bus to Trebinje for 2 days then go to Dubrovnik, Croatia. The lady working the reception informed me after a big search that there was no buses until the next day so I didn’t know what to do as I needed to leave. The young lady who serving breakfast had heard my problem and came to me. 20 minutes later out of the blue and said she found me a ticket on a bus leaving in a couple of hours to Dubrovnik. I said that I already paid for a hotel in Trebinje and would have to pay one as a deposit if no show. She said that’s stupid do you want me to call them? She did and got them to wave my deposit fee. She got me taxi to the bus station and when checking out she asked if she could fill my water bottle so that I had water for the trip. That is excellent hospitality way above what anyone can imagine! I believe she said she’s called Fifi as the name she wrote in my phone was auto corrected to Filters. I could never thank her enough for going out her way to help a person that didn’t even ask for it😅! That represents the true beauty of her and the Hotel Almira in Mostar. Anyone looking for great place to stay to feel at home should stay the Hotel Almira and Fifi please know that kindness was well noted and acknowledged!

My stay at this charming hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived at midnight, we were welcomed with the warmest hospitality by the owner, Almira. Her kindness and willingness to open the kitchen and make us a sandwich after our long journey was a gesture that truly set the tone for our stay. The room was absolutely immaculate and exuded a quaint charm that made us feel right at home. The wonderful pressed linens were so nice, ensuring a night of restful sleep. In the morning, we were treated to a fabulous breakfast that was included in the price and the perfect start to our day. Lejla was incredibly helpful in planning our tours and providing us with detailed directions, making our exploration of the area seamless and enjoyable. Her knowledge and assistance were invaluable. They have a travel agency service at the property as well. The hotel’s location is simply fantastic. We could easily walk to the bridge and wander around the old town, soaking in the rich history and culture. In every aspect, this hotel surpassed our expectations. The combination of top-notch hospitality, comfort, and prime location make it worthy of a five-star rating. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable experience.
