Hotel Almirez - Alpujarra

A disappointing lunch. Food took a long time to come out and we were the only ones eating. The solomillo salteado was inventive but the burger was under-cooked even though we asked for it to be well-cooked and too complicated to deconstruct it and came with crisps. And a cold cheese dip on it was odd. Way too many flies in the restaurant as well. Disappointing

Luis and All the staff has been exquisite with me and my fellows. We had breakfast and dinner here, the food was magnificent, the continental breakfast is Great. All the staff has been very kind with us and listened to our special requests and helped us. My room had a beautiful balcony. Outside there are many tables to chill under the sun. I will definitely come back here if I will be in Almeria Region again. Thanks!!!!

I do not usually write reviews but I feel this special place really deserve it. Me and my husband spent a wonderful weekend in this fabulous hotel last summer. The location of the hotel, just outside of Laujar de Andarax, makes it really special and ideal for quiet, relaxing stay. We had a specious, comfortable and super clean room with comfortable bed and a balcony with lovely mountains views. The food was just unbelievably good, really fantastic menu and the best Goat Cheese salad I ever had! The breakfast was great too. ||The owners were amazing, we felt really looked after and spoiled by them. They recommended great places to visit, answer all our questions about the local area, history and food and even arranged a vineyard visit for us. ||We stay in different places in Laujar before but this one was really special and we can not wait to go back there next summer! This was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was so kind and it was obvious they genuinely care about the comfort of their guests. We had a very nice late night meal at the restaurant on the premise as well as a good breakfast before continuing our journey. We were very pleased we found this gem and would gladly stay again.

We rolled in late at night without reservations and they were very welcoming. Newer and clean, decorated with a cheery old world feel. Very good breakfast included in the charming dining room or patio seating. Private deck had a great view of olive groves, which we strolled through for a nice walk to town. Peaceful location but easy walk to dining and town. Our only complaint was the bed was quite firm.

Lovely hotel run by a charming couple - both fluent in English and spent time making sure we were settled. Clean and tidy rooms with big terraces to sit and look at the view. Very family friendly.||Outside of the town of Laujar and well placed to explore this part of the Alpujarras.||Excellent breakfast and we had dinner in the restaurant both nights.

I was recommended this small hotel by friends who were staying there over Easter, and I decided last minute to pop over for a night. Their opinion of the Hotel was spot on, great value, excellent food, and extraordinarily helpful staff to look after you.
