Really lovely hotel, staff friendly and polite, I booked a single room so imagine my surprise when I had a family room at no extra cost. The bathroom was lovely, bath shower. I found the hotel to be spotless and inviting. Cosy lounge, and a smoking lounge if you need one. The lounge had a enclosed log burner. I settled down with a book. The spa is out of this world. Infinity pool with jacuzzi, sauna, a hot plunge. Outside jacuzzi. Orange juice at hand. The only thing was the steam room seemed rather poor and it had a off putting smell!? There were lots of loungers, fresh towels. And before I forget, in my room was a basket for the spa, a dressing gown and slippers. The slippers kept falling off lol 😂 but I brought my own flip flops, I felt really pamperd. I would recommend bringing flip flops. Now I am a vegetarian and Mmmmm not a great deal of choice in the evening, other than cheese that I'm trying to cut down on because of high cholesterol. But there was soup and salad every day. I made a do at Breakfast, eggs, cereal, yougart, fruit. Coffee. I certainly didn't starve 😆 It's the perfect hotel to do all I wanted. I went on the cable car to the glacier paradise which was what I came for. Mountains with snow on. I also took the train up too, both trips highly recommended. I was a solo female and felt safe throughout my trip. The village is beautiful. I can honestly say the whole experience is one of the best I have ever had, and I will treasure my memories of Zermatt Switzerland x x
