Hotel Alpenblick Weggis

Mixed experience. The hotel was a hot uphill walk from the ferry terminal, and it took us a few days to figure out the bus access. The only entrance is via a steep driveway with no sidewalk. Location and parking seems very suited to guests arriving by car rather than on foot. |The lake view room had a stunning view, and the breakfast was delicious and quiet on the beautiful terrace overlooking the lake. |I can't recommend the restaurant. Though the food was quite good, they were severely understaffed to the point it took 30 minutes to order drinks and nearly two hours to be served our dinner food, which was not workable with kids. Not sure why they accepted so many reservations with the staffing limitations. |The staff we met were overall very kind, but seemed to be trying to do a lot with not enough resources or staffing overall, leading to a lot of waiting for any interaction. We loved Weggis but would stay closer to the water/ferry terminal if we had to do it again.

Utterly brilliant hotel. Pet friendly, super nice host and staff. Food was great (although English Menus would be appreciated). Useful Tesla chargers although the car park is super tight (see images) Lovely location over the Lake

This hotel is perfect from multiple aspects, location, staff, restaurant and cleanliness. I went there for dinner with great view and decided that I would stay there. Staff was very helpful and offering me a room. It was really good experience for me. I would specially thank Dominik for upgrading my room to lake view. It was absolutely magical. I will surely stay at this hotel again.

Absolutely perfect hotel. The view is stunning, and the sea view room is modern, cozy, and spacious. The restaurant is excellent, and the breakfast buffet is very good. I’ve never felt so warmly welcomed by the staff—both at the hotel and in the restaurant. I’ll definitely be back!

Super friendly stuff, lovely room, clean, the Hotel looks a bit like a hospital from the outside but inside it is modern rustical, tasty and fresh breakfast buffet, amazing lakeview.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel as a family! All of the staff were very child friendly! We had a babybed in our room, the pool was great fun (free for hotel guests) and the breakfast was lovely! There is a great playground really close to the hotel, it is close to the bus stop and the boat pear! Great location! The Restaurant in the hotel is fabulous! Great food and wonderful staff!

Stunning views of the lake and town. Remodeled rooms. Great breakfast. Ultra comfortable beds. Beautiful views from pool. Couldn’t have asked for better stay. Make sure if you’re checking in after hours that you call/email ahead of time to get the code.

We booked on summer and unfortunately the hotel has no air conditioning, not even a portable one. It was 30C and only a small fan provided. The bed sheets are rough and I kept waking up in the middle of the night. Service is non existent. We left after the first night.
