Hotel Alpenblick Zermatt

We were glad we managed to book a triple room for 2 nights just before Christmas. It was hard finding a Hotel in Zermatt during this holiday season. Our triple room is spacious, the bathroom has 2 sink and we have 2 balcony. One balcony has a view of Matterhorn. Breakfast has a good variety and the restaurant is cosy and spacious. The walk from train station to Hotel is 850meter uphill. It is a struggle with suitcases but you can always book electric taxi from the Hotel or online. We will no doubt stay here again if we visit zermatt again.

She coordinated with housekeeping and confirmed that the speaker was found. I then requested the hotel to store the item under my name (Joel Te, Philippines) because someone will pick it up on my behalf. Carol agreed, and the item has been kept under my name, Joel Te, Philippines. The receptionists are very helpful, especially Carol — they assisted me professionally and kindly. Had a disappointing experience here. When I raised a legitimate concern at checkout regarding my booking, the manager/owner became extremely aggressive and unprofessional. Instead of a calm conversation, I was met with hostility. I contacted Expedia about the manager’s behavior and the service issues, and thankfully, Expedia stepped up and made it right immediately. Avoid this place if you value professional service—the management here does not know how to treat guests. Five stars to Expedia support, zero stars for this hotel's management.

Lovely and comfortable hotel. ||Also the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The cleaning team should be given a pay rise - they do an amazing job. It was spotless - common areas and my room. ||Comfortable bed, warm rooms and a balcony was great too. ||Highly recommended.

Meticulously maintained room with traditional Swiss woodwork and beautifully appointed bathroom. High quality breakfast offering a wide range of offerings included. Friendly and efficient staff. Great location for accessing Matterhorn Express.

Quaint older hotel, but well maintained. Balcony with a view of the Matterhorn. Breakfast included was quite nice and extensive enough to meet every taste. Was comfortable to walk through town to the train station but not with luggage. Would strongly suggest a taxi.

I made this reservation at the last minute since I needed a place to stay for one night. On the way there from Wengen I had 7 train changes and took a bad tumble on the last train. Carol was very kind and arranged for a taxi to pick me up from the Train Station as well as a return the next morning. She provided me with emergency options should I get worse but thankfully I didn’t. The room was vey nice, there was a kettle in the room which I think I appreciate more than the average person. My visit was so brief I don’t know much more to say except I remember them fondly.

We had a wonderful stay at Alpenblick Zermatt. The rooms are cozy and spacious and have a large balcony overlooking the mountains. The room has a clean, fully equipped kitchen. The room is temperature controlled at 21 deg C - so folks traveling from tropical climates might find the room a bit cool in the evenings, but if you close the windows in the evening, the room gets remarkably warm. They offer a good breakfast spread as well! Pro tip: The hotel offers shuttles to and fro from Zermatt station at special rates.
