Hotel Alpenstern

Beautiful hotel inside and out. Chic view and wonderful staff. ||Sarah Burtscher, the reservation specialist, is so helpful that she answered all my questions and thus made my trip a total success. ||The hotel shall be proud of having such professionals like her - her warmth impressed me until now!

Wonderful experience. New and modern hotel. Excellent location. Great area for skiing, snow boarding, snow shoe hiking and walks. Very polite and friendly staff. Pool in and outdoor. Billiard table, guest cars in heated garage. Excellent restaurants and bars. ||We will be back.

I loved this hotel so much. We spent one night there for our anniversary but I wish we stayed longer. Everything was wonderful from the staff to the design, to spa. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The cocktails at the bar were great. We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and the breakfast buffet. We visited ahead of ski season so just enjoyed being at the hotel and in the indoor/outdoor pool. We didn’t know about the hotel ahead of time - just found it on Booking - but I have already told so many people about it. It was a (good) trek to get there but worth the drive. I hope I get to go back one day.

This lovely hotel is an absolute gem. In the middle of the mountains with spectacular views. The staff is very friendly. The cleanliness superb. |The breakfast buffet has a wonderful choice of different varieties. The dinner is outstanding with three different main meals to choose from. There is also a great salad bar. |This was a fantastic vacation. |We will be back.

This is just a review of the restaurant. A la carte offers a relatively small choice. The food was good and it was a good portion. We were very hungry after a full day on the slopes and had plenty of food with just a main course. We arrived at 8pm and the kitchen is open until 9pm. The salad bar was half empty. So we skipped the salad bar. There is bar in the hotel which has a dance floor.

The restaurant, SPA and pool are nice and the rooms are clean and beautiful. BUT the rooms are poorly noise insulated and we’ve been assigned to a room below a several children. They made a lot of noise until late in the night. After asking the management several times for a resolution, they were unable to resolve it and offered us a different room at our own suggestion. At midnight, we’ve moved to a different room. We actually wanted two sleep 2 hours earlier. Hence, we would have been glad if they would have gave some sort of compensation but they didn’t. If one wants a quiet place , I can’t recommend this hotel. The advertisement on the website is wrong in that regard: “Finden Sie Ruhe und neue Kraft inmitten des Ski- und Wandergebietes Damüls-Mellau.”

Amazing hotel. The view from the room is incredible. The spa is very cozy, clean and relaxing. The staff is very friendly, they speak also english. The restaurant is good.

Simply superb, equipment, stuff, design location. It is worthwhile to stay here for few days, take spa, massage, or goes skiing in summer take trip.. excelent place to stay.
