This was our fifth time in Ischgl, so we like it a lot. Normally it’s just my wife and me, but this time our son, daughter and son-in-law were able to join us. To be skiing all together again after a 20 year gap was very special.||The Alpvita turned out to be an ideal choice because our son was staying in an adjacent hotel, and our B&B board basis suited my daughter and SIL.||We booked through Crystal ten months in advance to secure the date and a very early flight out of Gatwick. Crystal however, much to my anger, changed our flight to an afternoon one at short notice. We therefore didn’t reach the hotel until 8 pm and our request for dinner despite the restaurant finishing at 7.30 pm was kindly accepted. First impressions of the hotel and staff were very positive as a result.||Our fourth floor balcony room had an excellent view overlooking the town below and we were very pleased not to be disturbed in the early hours by drunk loud people passing below us, unlike the experiences we had in the Elizabeth Arthotel two years running!||With its quiet location, and just a five minute walk to the Fimba gondola, the Alpvita was a delight to stay in. Our room, the bar, lounge, and restaurant were tastefully furnished and decorated, with no signs of wear. The restaurant had a cosy ambience with lit candles situated everywhere. On the two nights we ate in the food and service was excellent. We were impressed that the hotel was keen to cater for my daughter’s gluten free requirements. Breakfast bread rolls would be left out separately for her each morning. Very considerate.||Lastly, and most importantly, we found all the staff to be extremely friendly, accommodating and kind. It would be unfair to single anyone out as they were all excellent and appeared very happy in their work. It was also a pleasure to meet and see the owners, Hr and Fr Salner regularly around the hotel and we hope to return to their beautiful hotel next year.

Where do I start? Lovely clean hotel. ALL the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome and part of the family. Room was spotless and serviced very efficiently on a daily basis. View from the balcony was to die for. The wellness facilities were great for a small (29 room) hotel. The afternoon "tea" after skiing was the best I have ever had in a resort. When we dined in the food was of a high standard. Shower was always hot. Would I recommend this hotel .... YES, without any reservations. They made this holiday with my son both enjoyable and memorable

I highly recommend this fabulous hotel. My husband and I arrived last weekend, a little later than expected as the transfer from Innsbruck was slightly delayed. We were tired and hungry but the welcome that we got from the lovely receptionist Kimberley made us feel right at home. She was able to arrange getting us some dinner even though it was over half an hour after the restaurant hours had finished. We were extremely grateful for this because traipsing around Ischgl looking for food on a Saturday night would not have been fun! ||Dinner was really excellent. We were looked after extremely well by Rebeka who explained the menu and made sure I got a lovely glass of wine to rest and relax after the journey. The food was wonderful. I had a simple meal of beef strips and baked potato which was really tasty and my husband opted for the vegan option of zucchini and quinoa fritters which were absolutely delicious. We then completely overdid it by getting the cheeseboard which (unfortunately) we couldn’t finish. I wish I could have though! ||Breakfast is fabulous, with a huge range to choose from. Fruit, muesli, hot food, crepes, eggs etc etc. All to the highest standard. And in the afternoon, they lay on beautiful cakes for an après ski snack. Hats off to the kitchen - they do an amazing job! ||Our room is spacious with comfortable beds, plenty of room for all of our ski gear, water, tea making facilities, a safe and a fabulous shower. Everything you could possibly need. And spotlessly clean too. ||The other thing to mention is the spa. Oh wow, it really is something special. There is a small pool with a sauna as you enter the area (children are allowed in this area) but there is also a separate area for 16+ which has relaxation rooms, two more saunas, a steam room and an infra red cabin. You could spend hours in here just chilling out and looking at the amazing views! Note that swimming costumes are not allowed in this adult area, but you can wear a towel (as we did because we are shy 😃).||Finally I just have to mention the general ambience and the staff both of which are truly top notch. This hotel genuinely feels like a lovely place to be, with staff that want to help you to have the best time possible. Credit to the owners for creating this wonderful haven. Thank you so much - We will most definitely return!

I’m pregnant and spend a lot of time in the room. I saw a different pictures of the rooms of this hotel and asked about a modern room for staying. The hotel answered, that “Your room is suit, so you will enjoy it.”||||- The suit is 35 m2, but the sleeping room is very small, because the suit is divided between 2 rooms (not mentioned in the room description) ||- We have to keep our windows closed, because the suit is located on the 1st floor of the 6 floor’s building. We see a people from the building, that is in opposition. No way to enjoy a Mountain View, unfortunately. ||- There is no Terrasse in the suit. The door to the small balcony is blocked by table. - the cosmetic in the room is soap “all for one” - the furniture and textile is “tired” ||- The bad is too small. It is mentioned 151-180 sm, but obviously, for the suits is only 151 sm. ||- Bad robe is synthetic 100%.||||We gave all of our comments to the administration & Booking in the morning immediately after breakfast after the first night. In response, the hotel administrator (man in tracht )said: “Get out from the hotel.” We left the hotel without any documents. Later the hotel used this to charge the cost of one more night as - they said - 11:00 AM is late check out. They also asked us not to leave a bad review on the internet.||||Our vacation was ruined and my pregnancy was also affected as the situation was extremely unpleasant and stressful.

Went to the restaurant well dressed and ready to eat with my family. At first they seemed to be fine, then all of a sudden it was “fully booked”. So we hade to leave (even though it was empty). When we went back 1.5 hours later it was still basically empty in the restaurant. Clearly they were lying and made us feel very unwelcome. Short but terrible experience.

Excellent hotel if you're thinking of a week's skiing. It's almost ski-in, a branch of red 1 run finishes just at the bottom of the road (where there is also a little bar for apres). In the morning it's a short walk of 2 or 3 mins down the road to the tunnel and onto a travelator which takes you to the fimbabahn. Very convenient. The hotel has a great atmosphere and a really cosy feeling. It is spotless with a lovely little pool and sauna area. Breakfast is varied and plentiful and the restaurant is recommended for an evening meal. I would be delighted if I got a chance to go back. Many thanks to all the staff. Holiday booked through Crystal.

We had a superb stay in this lovely family run hotel. The hotel is lovely with traditional sauna/steam room, the food was excellent and there was a fab selection of drinks! Dog friendly which is a bonus. Excellent location for Fimba via the Dorfmitte and can ski in to within about 200m of the hotel. Ski room well equipped for boots/skis/boards. Everything was super clean. Would definitely stay again! Thank you ☺️
