Hôtel Alt Québec

Spent the night recently as a last minute decision, I was looking for a decent deal for same-day lodging as my boyfriend and I spent the day near Quebec City and were not interested in driving back home that night. Our room was cozy, well appointed, well soundproofed, bathroom was big enough with a spacious corner shower. Bed was a little bit firm for my liking but that’s a personal opinion. Front desk staff were polite and helpful, and provided us with toothbrushes and restaurant recommendations with a smile. Free underground parking is a perk, and location right across for a very large mall as well. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity presented itself.

We stayed here with our dog and had a lovely time. The rooms were roomy, modern and had high ceilings, making it feel more open. The hotel being dog-friendly was the main reason we stayed here and it included the “pup package” which was a feeding station, a dog bed, and a package of treats. My dog enjoyed all of his amenities and we will be sure to come back if we’re in the area.

For the price, what's offered, and what I experienced. I give it 5/5. Adjustable room temp, comfy bed * though semi firm, some people might not like it, I do. * Appears there's a gym, and a couple other things * I didn't explore the hotel * the staff I experienced was polite, helpful, and nice. Asked for directions and restaurants, toothbrushes and toothpaste, all was provided in a professional manner. Bathroom amenities were nice, plenty of towels, pillows, * very soft * mini fridge, nespresso coffee machine with a couple complimentary pods. VERY QUIET ROOMS/SOUNDPROOF. VERY nice for obvious reasons. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area and needed a room. Also free parking outside AND underground. Right next to a SUPERCENTRE shopping mall. Many restaurants within walking distance and quick drive to many more choices. Edit: As I was leaving, I had an issue with my motorcycle, didn't have the tools to fix it, ask the hotel, and they provided the tools needed, now I can safely ride home 😀

What a fabulous stay. We came to Quebec City and were incredibly disappointed with our first hotel. Once we were in that room I immediately started trying to find another hotel. We lucked into the Hotel Alt. From the front end clerk, to check the n and dealings with the manager, we were made to feel as if we were invited to their home. From the glass jar of fresh, icy water, loaded with fruit to the rooms, you will not be disappointed. If you have a choice, pick Hotel Alt.

Stayed here for a night to be close to the airport and no complaints. The room and bed were a good size. Staff very friendly. Wish they had better coffee in the lobby though!

The staff is amazing! My boyfriend and I are making a trip from southern Ontario to Nova Scotia. Our truck broke down as we arrived to Hotel Alt Quebec. The staff went above and beyond to help us in any way they could. They made phone calls for us, translated for us (as we do not speak French), and made our stay pleasant while we dealt with a very stressful situation. We are very pleased with the service, care, and friendliness here!!

Super clean and that's the most important aspect of any hotel. The staff are very accommodating. And the Hotel's restaurant (Le Bistango) is a MUST, do not leave town without trying it out.

Fabulous hotel and staff were very attentive. Very modern hotel, very crisp and clean.|Stayed on the outskirts of Quebec old town Ubered in to catch a private tour just to get the feel of the place, and what a place to see beautiful stowed in history, unbearable place.
