Hotel Álvaro de Torres Boutique

The hotel is located at the edge of the oldtown. The surroundings are absolutely stunning! However, the alleys are a bit narrow and needs pay extra attention with cars. Interior of the hotel is the same as the photos, very charming. The staffs all are really helpful with all the questions. Room was spacious with all the things we need.The bathroom is a bit small, but manageable.Bed is comfortable, but a bit soft side. We had breakfast there since it was the Jan 1 the next day. The food was good and fresh. Parking is nearby.

This hotel is a true gem, And was well worth the price! It felt like we were staying in a big castle. The room was very comfortable and large with a big window overlooking the courtyard. The breakfast which was included was terrific, And the husband and wife team that own this boutique hotel, were absolutely lovely and hospitable!! We had a car that was too large for the little roads in Úbeda, But parking was right next-door to the hotel once we took the challenge of maneuvering these tiny historic roads! Lots to see and do here and a wonderful village!

This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The staff so welcoming, approachable, helpful and attentive. They were really nice members of staff, couldn’t fault anything.|Lots of reviews about the breaksfast and without doubt one of the most pleasant experience all served at the table. The olive oil on the table is one is one of the best - so much that we bought 6 botttles, not everyone sells this. Bought from top of Calle Real on the right on a corner.|Rooms cleaned daily. Bed extremely comfortable and I have arthritis of the spine!|Booked one night but stayed for 2 we enjoyed this hotel and everything about it. I can highly recommend it and would definitely go back in a heart beat.

It’s a nice small place in a good location with friendly staff. The parking is public and hard to access as it’s always full. Some of the rooms are tiny, dated and have unacceptable size showers. The breakfast is OK but hardly wonderful. It was acceptable. And, be prepared to climb stairs, no elevator which is a problem for some. There are nicer places but they charge more. Remember, you get what you pay for and this is no exception! But those saying Fabulous are either inexperienced or uninformed about options.

Cute little hotel in picturesque historic town. |Fantastic breakfast served by efficient friendly staff. |Smallish room but lovely little balcony overlooking the plaza. Amazingly comfortable bed. |Only complaint - noisy fridge and no hot water in basin. Some people may not like the toilet cubicle arrangements!

The hotel is charming, the room was comfortable, spacious and spotless although the bathroom - especially the shower cubicle - was a bit too small.||Staff are very friendly and efficient, the breakfast is very good indeed. ||The location of the hotel is second-to-none, just a few steps away from the bustling Calle Real and walking distance from all the main historical attractions. ||The hotel itself doesn't have parking but it's right next to a free public car park. Highly recommended.

Location was perfect, there is a free public parking just in front ( Parking Santa Clara). Hotel is a beautiful old house , with an interior patio. Nicely decorated rooms, excellent ratio price/quality. Superb breakfast!! Highly recommended!! NO ELEVATOR.

The hotel is superbly located for visiting, on foot, the historic plazas and monuments of Ubeda. The hotel itself is in a quaint old building with a beautiful central atrium. The staff are extremely friendly - breakfast is a real treat! Be aware that as an old building most of its bedrooms are different and some are better than others. Some have beautiful windows but others have internal windows only. If you are on the ground floor you may not wish to sleep with the window s open and the air conditioning units can be noisy. Subject to this caveat we had a lovely stay at Alvaro de Torres and enjoyed Ubeda immensely. Also if arriving by car put 'Plaza de Santa Clara' in the GPS as destination as that is the location of the public car park .
