Hotel am Brillantengrund

My stay at the hotel was truly wonderful. The room was very comfortable, the meals at the restaurant were excellent, and the whole atmosphere felt warm and inviting. But what truly defines this place is Jil at the reception desk. Her presence has a way of lifting everything around her. She moves with the instinct of a real concierge, sharing the best places to eat, to shop, and even where to cross paths with the most handsome people in town. She makes the city feel accessible, almost intimate, as if she were opening hidden doors. In a place where hospitality can often feel routine, Jil turns it into something memorable. To call her essential would not be an exaggeration. She is the rare kind of professional who quietly raises the standard for everyone else — and the hotel shines brighter because of her.

If someone does not know how to cook food they should not serve food and just server drinks! Very disappointing meals. Old spareribs, reheated, fried chicken fried in oil still on with majo, dry bistek, Brokkoli, all in the same souse.

This place has a beautiful courtyard as well as nice and funky interior. The food is delicious and staff super friendly. I come here for a drink and some food every time I’m in Vienna.

Hotel am Brillantengrund is a former cloister turned design-forward hotel in Neubau. Its courtyard layout gives it a calm, open feel, while the popular Filipino restaurant adds just the right amount of energy. Rooms are simple and stylish, the (vegan-friendly) breakfast is excellent, and the staff are welcoming—with great taste in music. If you like beautiful spaces with a bit of soul and city life woven in, this is your place.

I visit the Restaurant as Local Person and the Court Yard is so sweet! Staff is very friendly! And the Filipino Food is extremely delicious. Full of flavors and so tasty! I will come for sure again ♡

Cute design-forward hotel that feels plucked from a 50's film. Very comfortable rooms and beds, though our washroom was a total puzzle to use. Excellent breakfast served from the bar/restaurant that gets very busy in the evening. Short walk to the U-bahn and several trams

Very lovely boutique hotel! The beds were very comfortable and the overall ambiance of the hotel was very nice. The breakfast was also really good; we would love to come back here!

Quaint and lovely place with beautiful interior design. Very welcoming people! The Pinoy breakfast is yummy. Some parts of the room could benefit from a little refresh (more outlets would be nice), but overall, it’s a great and enjoyable stay. Thanks!

This little gem of hotel is in one of our favorite neighborhoods in Vienna. The food is delicious - many Filipino dishes, but also local Viennese cuisine. The location is better than we expected based on our map recon - so now we stay here every time we go to Vienna. This is one of the best!

The front desk staff were friendly and it was a great central location. The room was clean, but small, and even though it opened into the courtyard, it never seemed to get too loud. The food from the restaurant downstairs was delicious.
