Hotel Am Kornmarkt Heidelberg

Great family-run hotel in the center of Heidelberg. You can walk to all the restaurants and highlights. Parking is simple at the P12 parking garage at a 5-minute walk. Jan was helping me out and provided great service. I was the only guest taking breakfast that day, and he provided a full breakfast just for me. I felt like a king. He is also clearly well known locally. I was traveling alone, and he suggested going to the Schnitzelbank for dinner. Great choice. Super small place with communal tables and great traditional food. I had a blast and when I mentioned that Hotal am Kornmarkt suggested the place, they said: "ah, Jan, say hello to him". I did.

Great value for money. Superb location right in the heart of the old town. The common areas and the room were spotless and the breakfast was tasty and fresh. Excellent service from start to finish. I can highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Heidelberg and will definitely be back.

It's a cozy little place, and had what I needed. I stayed for one night, and the location is very convenient. Parking garage with access to funicula is about 100 m away. I had room 22, and it was quiet, but my cousin had 24, across the hall, facing the square, and she said it got noisy outside after 5 am.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Am Kornmarkt Heidelberg! The location couldn’t be better—it’s right in the heart of the city and close to everything we needed: great restaurants, shops, and entertainment. The owner was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our suite was comfortable and spacious, perfect for our family, and the view from the room was absolutely beautiful. We’ll definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Heidelberg!

Super location close to Heidelberg University. Breakfast good selection and super fresh. The room was very simple but spotlessly clean as was the entire hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly management. Only small suggestion would be to have a kettle and cups in the guest rooms.

Our family of four stayed for one night to visit the Christmas markets. The location was perfect to explore the markets, castle and town. The room was spotless and the staff very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here in July 2023 during a European Drive.. very convenient and central location. The harder part was to find the public car park !! Once it was located, the hotel was withing walking distance and a step away from the hustle & bustle ! Enjoyed Heidelberg very much.
