Hotel Am Nockherberg

I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel, mainly because of the staff’s behavior. First of all, at the reception I witnessed an unacceptable scene: the receptionist added the parking fee to the bill of a couple in front of us without even asking for their consent. When they pointed out the mistake, he became extremely verbally aggressive and threw the money back at them. When they asked to speak with the manager, his response was very ironic, saying that there was no need for a manager. Honestly, if I were in their place, I would have called the police. Such behavior has no place in the hospitality industry. Secondly, the room we were given was at the mezzanine level and had a very strong smell of mold, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. At breakfast, the atmosphere was also unpleasant – the kitchen staff kept standing very close to the tables, which created the feeling of personal space being invaded. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for respect, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere.

My experience at the Hotel am Nockherberg was great. The breakfast offered here was delicious with a reasonable variety of options, making each morning enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to help with a smile, and they truly made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel's location is perfect—close to everything we wanted to explore, with easy access to public transportation. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in the city. I will definitely return on my next visit!

Dirty, dated, overpriced - charged over 500€ for 2 nights in summer. Noisy and staff were sarcastic and rude when I asked about the hair & stains on bed sheets and if they could be changed. Handy location but plenty of other hotels with better ones.

During August, I stayed at this hotel with my family and I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience. The hotel has a cozy atmosphere and the rooms are kept clean. The staff were also very attentive and responsive to our needs, and they were especially kind and affectionate towards my children. The breakfast was also delicious and enjoyable. We definitely plan to stay at this hotel again if we have the opportunity to visit this beautiful city in the future.

A nice little hotel with friendly staff and larger than usual rooms. It’s not new, and many of the facilities could be updated - but everything is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is nice, with many different options - especially appealing to kids. One issue is that there is no kettle or coffeemaker in the room - requiring us to go and ask at the reception every time we wanted to order a cup of tea - since the restaurant is closed most of the time, except breakfasts. So either a kettle, an open restaurant or a decent room service would be a great addition to the hotel.

24/7 reception and good access to public transport are definitely the plus of this hotel. Also it gives a general clean impression so I would think it was unfortunate that I found the used dental floss of my predecessor hanging on the soap dispenser and the glass in the bathroom had a misteriously sticky part on the rim.||||For business travel one should be aware that no room has air conditioning, the WiFi Signal is close to non existant in remote rooms and even in the breakfast room. Mobile signal was also weak to non existent. The breakfast is okay without getting enthusiastic about it. Some rooms face a huge car parking/garage area, this becomes noisy in ther morning.||||Again, for an overnight stay as a tourist acceptable.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Friendly staff, spacious and comfortable rooms, generous breakfast, and all at a fair rate. Perfect spot to stay in Munich. It's a 15 minute walk to the centre - great if you enjoy going for a nice stroll in the mornings, as I do. Only area for improvement is perhaps staffing levels at breakfast... wait times were perfectly fine but I just felt sorry for the staff because they were really rushed off their feet!
