I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel, mainly because of the staff’s behavior.
First of all, at the reception I witnessed an unacceptable scene: the receptionist added the parking fee to the bill of a couple in front of us without even asking for their consent. When they pointed out the mistake, he became extremely verbally aggressive and threw the money back at them. When they asked to speak with the manager, his response was very ironic, saying that there was no need for a manager. Honestly, if I were in their place, I would have called the police. Such behavior has no place in the hospitality industry.
Secondly, the room we were given was at the mezzanine level and had a very strong smell of mold, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable.
At breakfast, the atmosphere was also unpleasant – the kitchen staff kept standing very close to the tables, which created the feeling of personal space being invaded.
Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for respect, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere.
