Very nice hotel at the heart of the old town in Regensburg. Parking just next door, for extra, though reasonable, fee. All sights in walking distance.||Quiet air-conditioned room. Very good bathroom. Comfortable bed. Fridge, electric kettle, everything you might need. The only minor flaw; the room was a bit small for us; we stopped in Regensburg during a long road trip and we had a lot of luggage, that were difficult to arrange in the room.||Excellent breakfast. Good wi-fi.||Very helpful staff. We would like to thank again all the ladies at the Reception for their help with the green sticker for our car.||We definitely recommend hotel Peterstor.

The hotel was clean, very close to the train station and shops like Edeka etc. The girl at the reception was exceptional, friendly and very disciplined dedicated Staff. The lady at my checkout time was very kind, nice and motherly. She even gave me a bottle of quality water to take with me. I have never experienced such a rate of hospitality. It was an amazing experience. I will definitely stay there again, if I have any reason to be in that axis

We stopped over in Regensburg for the night on our way to Strasburg. The hotel is an easy walk from the station and an easy walk to the old part of town. The rooms, though small, are very comfortable and contained everything that we needed. Reception were very friendly and informative and we really appreciated the welcome drink on arrival. Breakfast was great and varied which set us up for our day of travel.

Honest review for whoever cares; We were traveling back from Austria and needed one night between Berlin and way back. Regensburg seemed like a nice stop in between. To the point; Positive; - Hotel is located very close to the primary touristic locations -Hotel has a discounted price for the parking garage which is located behind the hotel (Few minutes walk, relatively - comfortable - also have several electric charging spots) - Breakfast was good - Room was relatively clean - Good insulation on the windows Here ends the positive , lets go to the negative: - Room is EXTREMELY loud, the walls are made out of thin paper it seems like (ceiling and side walls) - has no soundproofing insulation whatsoever and is DRAMACALLY disturbing in case you're looking for a good night sleep or staying sane. - Rooms are VERY basic, has some kind of a cheap motel feeling - The heating in the room is not sufficient in most cases, heater was up all the way up and it was still a bit cold - there is a club RIGHT in the back of the hotel (next to the parking garage) - which makes a some what hostile environment in case you're walking in between the garage or the back of the hotel. lots of drunk folks roaming, certainly doesn't give a safe feeling. Also in the morning - left overs of drunks and club-goers roaming the streets and left over junk all over. - Had a mixed experience with the lady at the reception, when reported the noise issue we were given no alternative or even support to the request. Bottom line; I would say avoid if you can find something more relaxing and comfortable somewhere else. If you're lucky - get a room at the top floor - or one of those stand alone rooms in the back, might be more quiet.

Nice little quaint hotel in the old Town city center. However rooms are waaaayy to small and too expensive for what you are getting. I would shop around a bit more next time.

This is an excellent hotel, the hospitality and service are top notch and the location absolutely can't be beat. Our family stayed in 2 rooms during the Christmas market season and both rooms were to our needs...big comfortable beds, quiet rooms, and equipped bathrooms (although small European showers). We arrived before check-in, and were offered complementary beverages while we waited for our rooms to be finished. We enjoyed a glass of wine, a beer, and a hot chocolate between the three of us which was exactly what we needed after a long drive. The hotel provided us in advance with very specific directions on how to get to their hotel and the nearby parking garage. The directions were excellent and took us right to it, and the garage is literally steps from the back entrance to the hotel. It could not have been more convenient, especially after a very recent heavy snowfall. It was also great that the parking garage was discounted by the hotel. And speaking of convenience, the hotel is a 10 minute walk from anything you may want to see, including the wonderful Christmas market at the Thurn and Taxis palace. Breakfast was plentiful with everything you could want to get your day started. We would not hesitate to stay here again. If I had any suggestion to offer, it would be to provide some signage on how to use the shower system for your American guests. One of the water knobs was outside of the shower on the wall above the toilet while the other was inside the shower. It took some investigating to figure out how to adjust the hot and cold temperatures but I finally figured it out.

This is a lovely, small, family owned and operated hotel right in the heart of the old city. The location is superb, close to the main transportation hub on one side and 5 minutes walk from the centre of Old Town. The rooms were spotless and with enough spce to be comfortable. The view from my window was of a blank wall but other rooms had much better views. Ample breakfast provided with many options to satisify most people.
