Hotel Am Schloss Tübingen

A good hotel in an historic section of town, right next to a castle which is now part of their university. The staff were all very nice. There were freshly made omelets at breakfast. There is no elevator but the staff will carry bags up the stairs for you. We stayed in room 22 which had an updated bathroom and looked out the front of the hotel. Our room was very clean. There was no noise at all at night. |Getting to the hotel involved going up a very narrow section of street for a short distance but the hotel provided excellent directions.

This hotel is located in the heart of the old city, directly next to the castle. Parking can be arranged immediately in front of the hotel (yes, it's a bit steep but doable). Room was large and super clean with a spacious bathroom, TV and minibar. No AC but a fan, and the windows can be opened (it's a really quiet area at night and in the morning so don't worry). Breakfast buffet is excellent, with super friendly staff that make your coffee at your desire. Excellent value for money too. Highly recommended for your visit to the beautiful city of Tübingen.

A quaint family owned hotel in a great location. Rooms are comfortable. You will enjoy the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Start the day with a delicious breakfast served in the restaurant. I highly recommend that hotel.

Lovely hotel right in the very center of the old part of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is small and a bit quirky but all the better for it, it has a uniqueness to it that you don't find a lot these days. The breakfast was lovely and it was nice to have the option of sitting outside with the added bonus of watching the squirrels climb the nearby trees! The one tip I would add is that the hotel is perched on a very steep hill and the road up to the hotel is really tight so take extra care, especially if you have a large car. The staff will park the car for you if you are happier to let them do it (as again the car park is extremely snug!). |The hotel is in the middle of the old part of town so you only have to turn the corner to be right in the center of it all. It's a beautiful town with a relaxed friendly atmosphere, I would highly recommend it to anyone.

No air conditioning but Piotr provided 2 fans and a bucket of ice! No lift but the hotel helped with the luggage! Breakfast was on a charming terrace. Freezing cold showered a couple of times before I could sleep.

Great location, right at where you want to be in Tubingen. Staff is super helpful, friendly and accommodating. Always have the nicest breakfast, it makes a big difference when you're on holiday. It's a highly recommended hotel and restaurant. Will definitely stay here again in the future

Great hotel at the top of a hill at the edge of old town near the market square. Beautiful views and a lovely, extensive breakfast. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Very convenient location above the P12 parking garage. Everything was perfectly good enough. Booked a junior suite/family room. Was nice and spacious. Had a view of the Heidelberg castle. Breakfast selections were good. No complaints.
