Hotel am Sophienpark

Stayed for 4 nights. The big hotel is the under renovations so the hotel has moved to a smaller house. We didn't get the room with park view we wanted, but we got an even better one. The rooms are huge. Like a small apartment. Everything is newly renovated and looks amazing. As much as the room was great, the real stars of the hotel are the staff. Every employee we encountered, from the moment we went inside until the moment we left, was friendly and super- helpful. The always greet you with a smile and are ready to assist in any way. Best experience I've ever encountered. We requested a baby crib for our daughter, and the hotel also gave us a pack of toiletries that are made for babies. That is paying attention to details, and that's what makes this hotel above all the others. The location is central and very convenient, and the breakfast, although not very big, was fresh, with a selection of breads, cheeses, sausages, and vegetables. It was more than enough to keep us energized for our hikes in the forest. I definitely recommend this hotel, and I definitely want to come back, as soon as I can.

A wonderful stay in Baden Baden, the only thing that was a bit tricky was having to take trays up to our room or the terrace because we had our dog with us, but totally understand as the breakfast room was very small. All the Staff were all lovely and the rooms were beautiful and large, location is perfect for exploring Baden Baden. Thank you.

Really nice staff everywhere. Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms and bathrooms. Loved the shower. Breakfast was good, the service excellent.

Staff is exceptionally helpful and pleasant. We stayed here only for 1 day but very comfortable and affordable stay.

A wonderful hotel overall. I booked the family room so the four of us traveling separately could get together but the hotel gardens proved to be a better spot. Our room was comfortable and quite large but the carpet definitely needs an update. The entire hotel has a cool 80s vibe and is very clean. I was told the hotel is undergoing renovations soon . As far as location, it can’t be beat. We easily walked to loads of nearby restaurants, shopping and the thermal baths. Breakfast was outstanding! Overall, a great stay. A special thanks to Patricia at the front desk- super welcoming. We loved the basket for visiting the spa, very handy.

Stephan on the night shift was very helpful. The hotel is very nice, breakfast is very good and hearty. The parking g was a bit tight but they found us a parking spot for our car. Stephan walked us out to the car early in the morning since it was parked outside of the parking garage. He went above and beyond. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are.cozy.

Stayed here for 3 days at the time of the Christmas market. The rooms were very large. Ours had 2 large windows and a Juliette balcony looking onto the attractive street below. Rooms were well furnished, and had every facility. We slept well in the comfortable bed, although the two halves did drift apart. The decor was slightly tired in places, but I suppose at some juncture, it has to be the time leading up to a re-decoration. The public areas in the hotel are very grand. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of options (I loved the ginger shot). The location of the hotel is excellent for transport and the historic buildings of Baden-Baden. There is a lovely vibe in the town. It was nice to have a friendly and efficient welcome and stay in the Sophienpark.|

Beautiful room; well kept and supplied. The front desk personnel, especially Stephen, were very helpful and accommodating!
