We spent one night here while visiting St. Gallen and its unusual library. Our room (#7) was small by US standards with two twin beds, closet with a few hangers, luggage bench, desk, chair (used for our second piece of luggage), bed lights and one floor lamp. The shower had excellent hot water, a noisy fan/light which we had to turn off at night, liquid soap, lotion, tissues, a set of two very large bath towels, medium towels, and washcloths. The dining room is open for breakfast and lunch, not dinner. The hotel is within a 5 - 10 minute walk to the center of old town St. Gallen with restaurants, shops, and other sites. Parking under the hotel is European tight but manageable with careful driving. Except for the bathroom fan/light, the room was quiet. WIfi was fine. The buffet breakfast included fruits, cheeses, salmon, beef, ham, breads and rolls. Other clients seemed to be single travelers or business people. ||We would stay here again.
