The hotel is actually really pretty and also has a nice roof top area to hang out on. Pros: good location, super market and good restaurants closeby, breakfast is decent but a bit expensive Cons: If you are on the first floor, it is very loud, doors/walls seemed thin to me. I would not recommend to be on the first floor especially if noise sensitive. Pillows are a bit hard Owner/Manager overcharged me for breakfast but didn't have time to argue as i had to catch early train

The hotel was right in the centre of Amalfi |We absolutely loved this hotel central for everything |Town , cathedral or the short walk to a beach |Rooms were all white except for the decorative tiles. Headboard a lovely feature | Nice and clean /spotless very comfortable and clean white bedding and towels |for the 2 day city break I’d have happily stayed here longer |Only problem being parking |( they do have a small area under the ground ) |We managed to get into the main big under the rocks car park but was rather expensive for 2 days at £150 plus |It’s a crazy place roads being very tight and loads of cars / mopeds darting about all over the place |But if you like to people watch and like the hustle and bustle then this is ideal for you |Right in the middle of town

A beautiful boutique hotel close to many amenities. A small double room and bathroom very compact but perfect for my stay. Incredibly clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming, informative, friendly and helpful.||Had such a relaxing stay.

I don’t even know where to begin. The employees were so rude. They attempt to extort you for additional charges €50 charge for a second room key a €20 charge for a key to the safe. There was an €80 charge for my certified small service dog. We had a suite on the 4th floor with a hot tub that did not get hot. The restaurant was on the floor above our room so every morning at 6:30 a.m. we heard chairs start screeching across the floor. 9 AM you hear the cleaning staff start yelling out instructions to each other as it echoes across the tile floor. The beds are very hard, and the pillows are very flat and old. The comforter for the bed it’s just a sheet with a thicker sheet on top. They control the air from down stairs at the main desk and they turn it off in the middle of the night, so you wake up sweating. They came in our room when you have the do not disturb on.

Stayed in hotel apartment rather than main hotel so please bear that in mind....... Nice apartment but LOADS of steps (we're talking 8 flights here, lots of breathless jokes about "base camp" and "final ascent".). ||Owner offered us a deal of bringing suitcase up there for 15 euros. We said "No thanks". DON'T make same mistake. Worth 20 euros. It's a long way up. But once you get there it's brilliant. Nice rooms, good kitchen, big bathroom and lovely sitting room. Rooftop terrace is also great.||One final moan,....the en-suite bathroom on top floor bedroom |Is pretty rubbish. Shower runs cold after 20 seconds and is VERY tiny, so really better suited for children. But would you want kids on floor above you with access to rooftop terrace??? Not sure I would. Otherwise it's a good apartment if you can cope with all those stairs. Gets you fit pretty quickly

Great location and incredible staff. The first room we had booked was the ‘classic’ room. This was outdated and not a good view. However, the staff was very accommodating and we moved into a deluxe room for a slight price change. Amazing room. Great view. Very happy with hotel Amalfi.

Hotel Amalfi was amazing in every aspect of the hotel. I first want to thank the staff for their kind service at all hours of the day, especially Chiara who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. She was always quick with an amazing recommendation and generally gave excellent tips that made each day better than the last. I am not sure if some of the rooms were not renovated but I could not disagree more with other reviews of inadequate accommodations. The room was modern and very clean, the shower was one of the best I had used during my European vacation! I really enjoyed the different shower heads, especially the rain shower. It was the perfect way to relax after a crazy drive to Amalfi through the mountains. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town and nearby some of the best restaurants. They also offer parking if you arrange it in advance. You may need nerves of steel to drive through the crowds during peak tourism times but once you get your car into the garage you really have no reason to move it. The breakfast was wonderful and had a good amount of options for an included breakfast. You can't beat the covered open-air patio for breakfast, it sets the mood for the whole day! After such a pleasant experience at Hotel Amalfi, I can assuredly say I will be back!

Excellent location for a hotel in Amalfi town. The beach is just a 3 minute walk from the hotel and there are many great restaurant s within walking distance. The ferry and bus terminal are also within walking distance. The hotel offers a tiny parking garage which I highly recommend using if you drive (since you can just use the elevator to bring your luggage up from the garage). It’s a bit of a process to retrieve your car, however, as the garage is more of a long hallway than a typical parking garage you might expect. The included breakfast was excellent and changed every day! The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. On the day we left (at 2:00 AM) there was a police car parked in front of the garage blocking us in but the hotel staff called the police and had the car moved for us in under 20 minutes. If you have to stay in Amalfi, this is a excellent place to stay for a reasonable price. Rooms were modern and clean as well. They also clean the rooms every day and always refresh towels.

Yelp
We really enjoy the location as it is right in the center of Amalfi and close to everything. The grocery store is right across the alley and the ferry and bus stops are within a 4 minute walk. Our view was not facing the Main Street and was overlooking an apartment deck but it was still wonderful. The 5th floor is a rooftop exclusive to the guests and we took lunch and dinner up their for ourselves a few nights. The view of the duomo can be seen from up here and it is so quiet. Breakfast is served up here As well and is very reasonable for guests. They also have an elevator for those needing the xtra lift. The prices are great and the service is wonderful. The rooms are very clean and spacious enough. The shower is very powerful and plenty of great hot water. We will be back again but not soon enough.

Yelp
This is an amazing hotel! Sarah made it especially great by helping us out and giving us a special gift! It's right in the center of the city and has a great breakfast! We highly recommend!

Yelp
This place was an absolute scam. They told us they would arrange a transfer to the Naples airport and we paid upfront to the hotel representative. It was something like 130 euros or more. The morning of our departure, no transfer showed up and the receptionist literally told us it wasn't their problem. My mom eventually got the money back from emailing the hotel owners but it was still such a bad experience I haven't forgotten it. We had to scramble to find a ride and it turns out there's a bus that's like 25 euros to the Naples airport. I think it's pretty terrible the hotel wouldn't have told us about this option. The hotel itself is fine. Three stars for the accommodation but the experience with the transfer was so bad I would never stay here again.

Yelp
This hotel has a very good location in Amalfi and I do recommend it to stay but be aware of the customer service by their employees at the reception and do not ask them to recommend anything. I asked to recommend how to go from Amalfi to Naples airport and the woman at the reception desk said by taxi and said it was a $130 euros in cash which I handed with confidence. I reconfirmed my taxi services the night before with the new reception employee (man) who first said he didn't know anything and it was not his problem and after I asked him to call the morning receptionist (the woman) he verified and confirmed the taxi service the following morning The next morning there was no taxi and the employee at the receptions (the new guy) said it was not his problem, he didn't speak English all of the sudden and did nothing to resolved my situation. I was able to find out by other people outside the hotel that there is a Shuttle to Naples Airport for $15 Euros per person and was able to convinced the driver to take me and my daughter even though we had no reservation (you can always find nice people in this world) When I got back home to USA I put a hold on the credit card charges for the Hotel and contacted them to get my refund of $130 Euros and Paola apologized for the mixup and sent me a money transferred but only for $100 Euros as $30 were used for fees which the hotel should have absorbed as it was their mistake, she did not sent me the other $30 Euros but I did pay my entire hotel bill as I am an honest person and acknowledge my obligations. Do not contract extra services with this Hotel ask around you will save money, bad treatment and headaches!!

Yelp
This hotel is in a great location. The hotel employees were polite and helpful. Gave us a orientation of the city and recommended places to visit upon checkin, which was very helpful. The English speaking employee, Tigi was very helpful. She told us how to get to Ravello - Sita bus, and where to buy the tickets. She also recommended that we do hike the Path of gods one way and then take the ferry from Positano back to Amalfi. This worked out great. Breakfast on the 5th floor was fabulous with great spread! I highly recommend this hotel .
