As a solo traveller this hotel was sized just about right. What I liked is that you can store your luggage under the bed for more walking space. I just dont like that they dont clean the room everyday. It is around after 2 nights before they do. But they do replace the towels. The bathroom is spacious but the sink area is a bit small so water can leak to the floor. Location is near restaurants and bars. It’s on the more quiet side of shinjuku. A bit of a walk to the subway but still alright.

Our stay at this hotel was unfortunately the worst travel experience my wife and I have ever had. We travel frequently and have stayed in many different cities and countries, but nothing has ever come close to what we experienced here. When we checked in, the first room we received had a strong and unpleasant odor that made it hard to stay inside. We asked for a new room and were moved, but the second room faced what seemed to be a nightclub. Noise from both outside and inside the hotel continued late into the night, with shouting, banging, and partying that made it impossible to sleep. The conditions around the hotel were even more concerning. The streets were dirty, filled with garbage and even rats. Large groups of intoxicated people gathered outside, creating an unsafe atmosphere. My wife was physically grabbed by two men right outside the hotel entrance and yelled at with inappropriate comments. She was terrified and refused to leave the room after that. The hotel staff responded politely to my concerns, but the hotel did not acknowledge the severity of what happened or offer any meaningful solution. Safety should always be a priority for guests, regardless of the neighborhood. This situation became so distressing that we ended our trip early and flew home. What was meant to be a relaxing part of our holiday turned into something deeply stressful and frightening. Safety, cleanliness, and basic comfort are not optional—they are the minimum any guest should expect. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend staying at this hotel, and I hope the management will take these issues seriously and make improvements for future guests.

Very cute and affordable hotel about 10 min walks from Shinjuku station. The hotel decor is quite typical Japanese minimalist down well. The rooms are your average Japanese hotel albeit a bit small is well appointed and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and most speak English. Downstairs is the lounge where you can get welcome drink. The neighbor has all sorts of restaurants of all sorts. Definitely a keeper!

Me and my Husband stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and it was very pleasant. It is a more « party » vibe area but we did not hear any noise from outside. Also no noise from the other rooms so we slept were well. The staff is super nice and we enjoyed our stay very much :)

The hotel is very well located and well connected, making it easy to get around Shinjuku and the rest of Tokyo. The rooms are the typical size you’ll find across Japan – compact, but very nicely designed and comfortable. One detail I really appreciated is that while daily cleaning isn’t standard in Japan, the staff was very kind and accommodated my request for a room refresh when I asked. They also provide complimentary bottled water, which is perfect for the intense summer heat in Japan. Overall, a great stay with thoughtful touches!

The hotel was in a prime location to Shinjuku station & the room was just what we needed for our week stay. The laundry in the hotel was extremely helpful as we had so much washing to do! It didn’t fully dry our clothes but it wasn’t too bad.

This hotel is beautiful and in a great location. The hotel staff are all so nice and patient. The rooms are just tiny for what you pay. The bathrooms are not very private either for those traveling in a group.

More Western in style and function than the hotel we used in Kyoto, but still a compact Japanese room. We did find that two of our bags slid under the bed for storage, while two did not. However the room was fully wheelchair accessible. We also had a fridge, kettle, coffee maker etc. ||The hotel had a very useful laundry room on the ground floor, as well as a restaurant (which we didn't try). Laundry area has several vending machines with some quite delicious fruity alcoholic drinks at bargain prices. ||This hotel is located in a party area, so lots of people outside in the streets at night. However we never really heard them or traffic when we were sleeping. The location is great for visiting bars, or for using as a base to go further afield. It's not far from Shinjuku station, from where you can get pretty much anywhere in Tokyo. The only caveat is the room size, but that's typical of Japan.
