We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights leading up to Christmas. It’s the third hotel we have stayed in at Benidorm and selected it due the excellent reviews it has. ||It is located directly on the Strip so perfect should you wish to be in the middle of the nightlife. We would not have chose to stay here in the height of season but knew it would be far quieter this time of year which it was. ||The check in was quick and easy and our rooms were ready even though it was only late morning so a great start. ||The room itself was spotlessly clean, had lovely modern decor and the bed & pillows were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was again, spotless with a large walk in shower. However, for us the rooms are just too small ! Had we of been there for longer than 5 nights they would have become a bit claustrophobic! It’s only a personal opinion but we just prefer space ! It was the smallest hotel room we have ever stayed in !||The restaurant is absolutely huge but there is definitely nothing fancy about it ! We described it as more of a cafeteria really ! There is a huge buffet for breakfast and the evening meals but it is repetitive. The breakfast is lovely and cooked well but the evening meals are very poor. The Soups are watery and lack any substance, if you are happy with a Roast and Veg then you will be accommodated for, but anything else for example, the Chicken Curry, the Chilli con Carne, the Pasta Dishes resemble an “Old School Meal” completely tasteless and very poor quality. We resorted to eating out or just having a salad which actually were very nice but not what we go on holiday to eat. The desserts also lack any degree of flavour and are so disappointing, there isn’t even a decent choice of cheeses. ||There is no waiter / table service for your drinks, you have to queue at the restaurant bar and pay upfront in euros, there’s no charging to your room or contactless payments. Again personal opinion, but this wasn’t for us ! We like to savour and enjoy an evening meal whilst on holiday, this resembles being in the Department Store cafeteria of the good old days !!! ||The bar areas are very nice and the drinks are extremely reasonable. They have some really good acts on so should you wish to stay in the hotel for the evening, you can do so|and still have an enjoyable time.||Unfortunately, This hotel isn’t for us and we won’t be returning for the reasons given.

I’ve just returned from 1 x week in the Ambassador 1, except for one minor issue, I can’t fault this place and highly recommend. The food is excellent, you can’t fault the breakfast and selection of what you can have, there is something there for everyone. The evening meals again are very good, great selection and all hot and very tasty, only one small fault with the evening meal, you can’t get tea or coffee, not even if you want to|Pay for it, the bar service only does beer, wine and soft drinks etc, I like a drink as well as the next man, but I honestly prefer tea or coffee with my meals. Even though it has this minor problem, I rate this hotel|110% all round, I recommend it that highly and am sure all will enjoy their stay here, try it and see

Absolutely beautifully decorated and sparkling clean reception area great first impression, pools and terrace bars are lovely. We were in rooms 2812 to 2814 and they were all fantastic ( the showers are incredible I wanted to take this home with me. ) lovely clean and comfortable beds. Air con works great too. ||Food has a great mixture of offerings and tasted lovely. I did get a bit bored of pizza and chips included every night in the offerings but not so much that it was an issue.||Pool attendants in general were really fair and courteous. If you're not using the bed then they remove the towels fold them neatly piled on the stage area. However, there was one blonde male who was stalking everyone to take something away, he told us off for having a bottle of water when the bar was closed! He would give people 5 minutes not the hour that the others did before removing towels. He even removed a towel from someone who was using the pool! I think he needs to be spoken to about this.||A special mention to the food and beverage team made both mine and my husbands birthdays very special singing and bringing cake and fizz to our lovely decorated table.||Evening entertainment was great but when your in the middle of all the buzz your never short of places to go||We loved it so much we are coming back next year!

Lovely hotel. Warm welcome on arrival, room wasn't really but we were early so just went for a walk around back for lunch then time to check in . Loved the room even though bit small , so clean nice towels with soap, shower gel and shampoo. Fridge to .Nice comfy bed so we're the pillows, some tea and coffee supplied but when that ran out you had to pay, so take some with you . Rooms are kept really clean , loved the balcony with its slightly tinted pink glass and nice chairs, we were on tenth floor and at the back which was quiet at night. Food was good , restaurant was keep very clean no plates left on tables , the staff here worked very hard . We enjoyed breakfast best , they do streaky bacon but the back bacon is keep by the omelette bacon was good and big. Only grip is breakfast doesn't start to 8am could be earlier.|Pool area doesn't open until 8.30 and loads were there queuing at 8am , we got there at about 8.40 and nearly all sun beds were gone especially those with umbrellas. The lack of umbrella were most people's grip and we asked for one and the guy at pool managed to find one . We read on here the day before we went that he moves towels if they hadn't been used for an hour but didn't see any of this . We did see some holiday makers asking how long the towels were there , and a lot were there hours because they got bed early and went out to the market for several hours so some losses this beds to other holiday makes but moving them or just taking the umbrellas....so people move towels if they aren't moved for several hours. But MOVE umbrellas please definitely not enough.|We had a take away breakfast last morning and can say there was plenty in there you won't go hungry.|All in all lovely hotel .

Can’t fault it really. Two pools. Always enough sun loungers (well when I was there) friendly service. Nice modern rooms. Decent food. Need I go on. Oh and location was great also plus they have live entertainment in their out door stage during the evenings. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel is lovely, but the pools are way to small to cater for the two hotels. They don't seem to have a policy at this hotel to stop the sunbed warriors reserving sunbeds all day with no intention of using them. Staff allow all the sunbeds to be reserved with the towel and no use all day which I think is poor for this standard of hotel. I've been in far more inferior hotels that have a 2 hour policy before towels are removed.|The breakfasts were really good but I found the rest of the food quite bland and very hit and miss. I had some nice meals but had to opt for tuna salad quite a few times and I'm not a fussy eater by any means.|The explorers bar is an amazing place to chill, absolutely loved it in there and good entertainment too.|Staff, especially in the restaurant were very friendly and made a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is well situated for the bars and is exceptionally clean. The food is lovely and plentiful - not great for vegetarians, but plenty of choice otherwise. The team in the restaurant, Montoya, Juanjo and Waka paticularly were amazing! My friend was 50 and they were so helpful! I recommend the hotel, particularly because of them.

Great hotel, right on The Strip but rooms are soundproofed - once the balcony door closed, we heard absolutely nothing from outside! The only issue we had was a struggle to get the room air conditioning to work consistently but not enough of a bother for us to complain. The food was amazing, really enjoyed our breakfasts & evening meals, empty plates every time & staff were great!
