It is located in a strategic position since it is near both the train station and the old town. The rooms are good as well as breakfast, especially for the gluten-free bread availability.
What is very negative, is how the payment is handled. They ask you a card so that they charge the amount before you arrive and they do it by themselves! That’s crazy, especially because every bank now requires the card owner’s authorisation to approve every ‘big’ payment and the hotel doesn’t tell you the exact moment when they charge the sum of money (it is generically said “two days before the arrival”). So, it wasn’t possible for me to approve the payment and they sent me an email telling me the news. Therefore, I wrote several emails offering solutions and explaining why the payment didn’t work, but they didn’t reply. On the contrary, some hours later a very rude man called me demanding another card (was it so difficult to to do the payment with the card I gave them?) to pay and I lost some money due to the necessary bank transfer from one card to the other. He wasn’t collaborative at all and he was very impolite. Very bad service. I don’t advise to use this system and I don’t recommend coming here if you don’t want to have this trouble. Fortunately, I didn’t meet this man during my sojourn at the hotel.
