Hotel Amber Shimla

The hotel is 3rd class, I wish there was a rating beyond 3rd class. The staff is very rude, at the time of check-in they would be very nice but later there will be no water in taps and mineral water available here. The geyser in the room wasn't working. They'll charge like a 3 star hotel but this hotel doesn't even qualify the basic amenity like water. Please be careful before booking here. Staying here was the only bad part about my trip to shimla

Horrible experience with this place. Hotel Amber is located on the market road for this You've to go on your feet .. Room charge is much higher than their service. Evn receptionist's behaviour was soo rudee.. agr aap online booking krk jaa rhe ho toh ye apke sath sath swtt behave n krte ...na hi koi facility provide krwate hn ... Isliye offline booking kafi sahi h .. with a much better price than this. Ha interior acha h, view acha h .. but service achi nhi h.

Horrible experience with this place. We had booked and prepaid for deluxe room for 3 people, but the hotel refused to give us the deluxe room and instead gave an extremely small room with barely any space to put the matress in the room. This hotel even refused to give bath towels and we had to fight for it. Food also is extremely expensive here.

They have a sticker outside their hotel for Regular Thali Price -: 200 and Special Thali Price -: 230 , seeing this I entered inside the hotel and ordered the regular thali , its like ordering a peanut at that hefty price , and when I complained this to the lady sitting at the reception she was giving me an angry and a serious look . They actually charge you 210 for regular thali and 250 for special thali. They should stop fooling their most valued customer by displaying the wrong rates of the thali outside their hotel , this is like misleading your most valued customer .

As per the location it was worth it. Owner is quite friendly. My family had a great time. We stayed there for two days. It's near the mall road so you can easily visit all the nearby places.

Hi all, I visited shimla in November, I chose the first, one hotel room which cost 1200 rup/ night. Then we went to check out other rooms which are 2300/ night. These rooms are really good, neat, and provide room ac with manual temperature control which helps us to overcome the cold, that part I like most.

The hotel is beautiful, property sights are beautiful, staffs are courteous. I really enjoyed the food also.. apart from that I'll say that all the staffs are very polite they will help you like your own and the hotel located is such place that you can enjoy the view from the room too.overall I had great experience. Keep it up and may be see you soon !😁
