Hotel Amber Shimla

I recently stayed at Hotel Amber, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The overall service and hospitality were excellent. A special thanks to Sunny Bhai, one of the staff members, who helped us a lot during our stay. He was extremely polite, friendly, and always ready to assist. His support made our trip even better. Highly recommended hotel.

We enjoyed our stay with family. The food, service, and staff were excellent, and it was great value for money. Sapna Ma'am thoughtfully arranged a room on the first floor due to my mother's age and also organized a cab and sightseeing at a reasonable rate.

WORST.... stayed here for 2 days... miserable experience..PAANI KA BHUT DIKKAT H(they haven't told this before yet)..WORST ROOM SERVICE.. MAJOR ISSUE : WRONG BILLING TWICE Got a wrong bill issue once..we didn't checked it at that time and payed the required amount at that particular moment (Realised ( the day after Tommorow )that a wrong item has been added). The next day we again ordered food from this particular restaurant only and again extra rotis were added .( 7 rotis instead of 5 rotis) . This time we pointed the mistake and he accepted it with a sour face and additionally we told the yesterday's issue.. HE THOUGHT WE ARE JUST LYING TO GET A DISCOUNT....later we provided the bill that he issued and he accepted his mistake and compensated us in the bill. The whole scenario room place in a rough tone by the HOTELS' OWNER INSTEAD OF APOLOGISING OR TALKING IN A FIRM TONE.. IT JUST SEEMED LIKE WE COMMITED THE SAME MISTAKE TWICE .

Hotel location is good and middle in ram bazar near old bus stand and near bridge shimla....hotel clean and clear...room service was good....and sanju bhai is great person who served the food and tea and water and etc...best person in amber hotel....

Room was good but need some maintenance but view from hotel is awesome.. Nice staff and restaurant

the experience was soo good specially the service of staff and the behaviour of receptionist sapna rajput was sooo soo good overall it was best .

The hotel is 3rd class, I wish there was a rating beyond 3rd class. The staff is very rude, at the time of check-in they would be very nice but later there will be no water in taps and mineral water available here. The geyser in the room wasn't working. They'll charge like a 3 star hotel but this hotel doesn't even qualify the basic amenity like water. Please be careful before booking here. Staying here was the only bad part about my trip to shimla
