The Best New Hotels in Paris that Opened in 2021 - AFAR

"A minimalist, budget-friendly option on the Rive Gauche in the 15th arrondissement, this compact hotel offers well-designed small rooms (starting at roughly 75 sq ft and rates from about €59) with simple furnishings and some rooms that afford views of the Eiffel Tower. Design by Gesa Hansen keeps the aesthetic tidy and modern; toiletries are produced in Grasse with a fig-and-fennel scent, the lobby/bar plays soulful reggae and doubles as a coworking spot serving Lomi filter coffee, and a charming courtyard with jasmine over terra-cotta tiles provides a pleasant outdoor retreat." - Sara Lieberman

Hôtel Ami (Paris, Île-de-France) 2 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Set in a century-old building in the 15th arrondissement’s Saint-Lambert, the Hôtel Ami has had a modern-Danish makeover, and now presents a stylish-yet-humble option to travelers whose taste exceeds their budget. Rich colors contrast with blond wood, and the spaces are enlivened with artworks, crafts, and curios. It’s by no means large, but its indoor-outdoor lounge is a pleasant little gem, and its location is far enough off the tourist track to feel like an authentic slice of modern Parisian city life — and in its low-key friendliness it does justice to its name." - Tablet Hotels

Amazing little hotel! The staff are literally the most helpful and kind. They chatted with my very chatty father while he had a drink downstairs, and helped us send off some post as well as print my prescription for a pharmacy. They made the stay!! The hotel is very pretty, and of course the rooms are small (it is Paris, after all), but they are well-designed and the 15th is the best place to stay. Loved it, will absolutely stay again!

Great staff, but compact rooms for the price The highlight of our stay was definitely the team: the staff was incredibly smiley and helpful, which we truly appreciated. Our superior room, "La grande Amie," also featured a charming view over the Parisian rooftops. However, the room layout was disappointing for the price point: - Space: The bathroom was tiny (hard to even dry off), and there was no storage space for clothes. - Bed: At 180cm, the bed is too short for tall people. Although the breakfast was very nice, I find the rates a bit excessive given the lack of comfort and space. Because of this, I probably won't stay here again.

I had such a wonderful stay here! The room was spotless and had absolutely everything I needed. It felt very cozy and was perfect for a solo female trip. A massive plus is how genuinely LGBTQ+ friendly this place is. I felt so welcomed, and the staff addressing me by my chosen name and pronouns was incredibly sweet and appreciated. Honestly, the best service ever!

Literally faultless - helpful staff, lovely room, great location. Comfy clean room, lovely view of the patio. Bed was large with great medium firmness pillows. Coffee machine and water provided. Could probably do with an extra couple of hangers. Location is great, really lovely little square nearby with various restaurants / bars, plenty of options. 10 minute walk from 2 different metro stations that will get you wherever you need. Walking distance of the local high street and the more villagey Commerce. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, amenable to some very poorly spoken French. Can’t speak to food/drinks in hotel beyond coffee which was great for the price. We will be returning for sure!

As a travel advior ,I spent 3 days in Paris researching stays, cafes, and tours for clients. I have booked Ami before, but this was myfirstt time staying here. I could not have been happier. Fi,rst the neighborhood is so charming, there are so many amazing cafes and bakeries. The hotel i3-star,star but hon, estly I would give it 4. The rooms are, small but that's Paris for you. It is very clean, the breakfast was small b,ut good and the coffee was delish! The staff is incrdibly helpful and kind. As a female traveling ,solo I felt very safe and I will book this hotel for myself and clients again and again.

Loved the ambiance, and location. Room was super clean and quiet oasis after my trip from the station. I loved the night view of the stone buildings on the quiet street. Friendly staff, breakfast had a romantic view of a small garden. I came at the end of a 2 week trip across France and this level of peace and calm was exactly what I needed. In the morning took a half hour walk to the Eiffel Tower. Was great being able to walk there and see all the small things along the way. Breakfast had eggs.

My family and I had the most amazing stay at Hotel Ami. Such a beautiful boutique hotel with everything we could possibly have needed. The rooms were simply lovely, clean and equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was a delight, fresh, homemade and so delicious. Upon arrival we knew instantly that the team love this hotel, so kind and informative, with a free piece of homemade cake. If you are looking for a hotel at feels like home, this is certainly the right choice! Thank you so much to the entire team for a wonderful complete Parisian holiday!

The team was welcoming and helpful. The hotel has a cool feel, with a great cafe area for meals and working. Our room was clean, bright and quiet with a lovely view of Parisian rooftops from the window. There were toys for my son and a sweet Orso teddy to take home. Thank you.
