I had a great stay at Hotel Anachoreo in early February! The views from the hotel are beautiful. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the pueblo, still within easy reach but far enough to enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains. The rooms were simple, clean, and well-maintained. Breakfasts were hearty and delicious, with eggs, fruit, and pancakes. One of the highlights was dinner at the hotel—the best meal we had in Santa Fe with yummy Cambodian food, thanks to the owner, Sineth. Thank you to Sineth and her team for their warm hospitality and for making my stay enjoyable.

This hotel has an excellent view of the mountains and valley. Sometimes it is hard to communicate with staff but eventually get the job done. Note if you are a Panama resident, they will not give Pensionado discount on hotel rooms.🤔

Location is everything! This small, comfortable hotel offers spectacular mountain views. The rooms are simple and clean, breakfast is delicious, and the space is quiet and peaceful. The views can be enjoyed from hammocks outside the rooms, a outside seating area, and the dining room. Truly a gorgeous spot!

Google|Hotel Anachoreo is a lovely boutique hotel that is nestled in a incredibly scenic location in Santa Fe. My wife and I stayed for two nights on 24 and 25 March 2023 and we thoroughly enjoyed being at this hotel. The owner and the staff are excellent, they are very customer focused! When we arrived they brought freshly made tea with honey to our room( tea leaves from their garden) and they bend over backwards to help in any way. The food is so delicious. We had a filet of tuna and side of rice and vegetables and the tuna was perfectly prepared. The next night we ordered meatballs on a salad, and the seasoning of the meatballs was incredible. Of course there were other selections on the menu and all are so savory.Every morning we had a tasty breakfast of crepes, eggs, fresh fruit and an assortment of fruit juices and coffee. The hotel offers tours to the National Park ( so many breathtaking scenic views) or to other parts of Santa fe, transportation to hiking trails, yoga and massages. However, if you just want to decompress and simply do nothing, this is your place! It is so peaceful, and the view from the hotel is so calming. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel if you plan on visiting the National Park in Santa Fe!

Very nice hotel for the area. Lovely breakfast and the restaurant on site is extremely well prepared and fresh. Staff very helpful for recommendations and assisting with anything. The area is not touristy, so don't expect a lot of bells or whistles anywhere...unless it's the views. Only issue was the beds are very hard, which after 20 miles of hiking in two days just made soreness worse...if you have extra travel pillow or a sweatshirt, bring as some extra padding, and Advil.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at this boutique hotel! The views from the patio are absolutely outstanding and the vibes are around are amazing. The staff is great (thank you so much Nathan for all of your help and recommendations of things to do in the Santa Fe area!). The food is absolutely delicious here too-we loved all of our meals. If you are looking for a relaxing, great holiday, come to Hotel Anachoreo! If you will not be disappointed

After inspecting all the hotels and hostels in this tiny town we chose to stay here. The comfort of the room was great. Excellent bedding and pillows provided as well as high quality towels. The room was nicely decorated. The view was stunning. And the breakfast that was included in the price was very good as a lot of it comes from the fresh garden on the premises. There is a ceiling and oscillating fan in the room which is all that is needed as this mountain town is quite cool except for just a couple hours out of the day. There is hot water and good water pressure although I had a bit of difficulty with it being continuous through my shower. The only issue we had was that the dog that is on the premises barks at things all night and comes into the restaurant by the tables while eating. Although he is very sweet, he should be put away at night and kept out of the eating area. There was a full bar which delighted my husband because he was able to grab a beer and enjoy the cool breeze and gorgeous view, while swinging in the hammock, drinking a cold one. If you are into hiking or have a car to go view the scenic routes, this is a perfect place for you. The ants are a bit of a problem but you are in the jungle of Panama so that is expected. Just don’t bring food into your room. All in all it was a great find on our exploration of off the beaten path places in Panama.
