Hotel & Brasserie Löwen am See

Fantastic stay at Löwen Hotel Zug – a spot-on blend of traditional charm and modern comfort, right in the heart of the old town by the lake. Rooms are newly renovated and immaculate, the brasserie below is excellent, and the staff—from reception to housekeeping—are warm, helpful, and clearly take pride in what they do. Great value for the quality. What’s not to love?

This restaurant enjoys a wonderful location, providing guests with stunning views, particularly for those seated by the lake. The food and drink selection is truly exceptional, offering a fantastic culinary experience that is sure to impress. The restaurant is also impress by its impeccable cleanliness ensuring a hygienic and enjoyable dining atmosphere. Additionally, the restaurant staff are highly attentive and helpful, making sure that families with young children are well catered for and have everything they need to enjoy their meal comfortably.

Great place to have a quick lunch at, service was a bit slow and we had a feeling they forgot us a few time. Food was absolutely fantastic and fresh. Lovely place close to the water.

Pros: Excellent location. Very comfortable. Very close to the lake and restaurants. Friendly staff. We enjoyed celebrating the Swiss national day in front of the hotel. Cons: No free parking but there is very close one and it cost 15 CHF. No hanger in the bathroom so you can hang your clothes.

Someone stole my sunglasses, that I left on the table. Pretty disappointed with that happening. I left it on the table whilst eating and forgot to pick them up and left. The table was securely inside where only the waiters were standing but when I went back they claimed no one had handed it into reception.

We had an amazing stay. We stayed for 2 nights. The staff are friendly and supportive. The parking is just a stone throw away and it's very convenient. The breakfast and restaurant is delicious and the location is absolutely impeccable the bedroom views were amazing
