Lovely Café/Hotel, right in the centre of Deidesheim. Room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfy, just the right firmness. Good breakfast. I did not try their cakes in the Café, but they looked to die for. The car park is a bit hidden away.

We had a lovely stay- beautiful room and view of the garden. Great spa bathtub. Short walk to wine tastings. Delicious breakfast included. Also nice to have free parking

The welcome here was excellent, by a lady who spoke excellent English and was keen to make us feel at home. We stayed two nights to attend a local wedding. ||The rooms were clean and of a modem functional design and with functional furnishings. ||The rooms are around a courtyard where breakfast can be eaten if the weather is nice. The breakfast buffet is, however, served in the atrium. The courtyard is also a cafe so light meals and drinks are available until the late afternoon. ||The rooms were comfortable but not luxurious but one down side was that there were no fans available. The temperature when we were there was in the mid thirties, only dropping to 29 overnight. Without a fan, sleep was difficult. We were advised that the heatwave was unexpected but i note that others on here have also made a similar observation although i am less inclined to criticise the church bell which does sound every 15 minutes throughout the night but is just one of those sounds that ads to the frustration of not being able to sleep|Overall, this is a charming medium sized B& B in the centre of Deidesheim, a very attractive German town. |Although no evening meal is available, the hotel is surrounded by many restaurants, including a take away pizza parlour. We would certainly stay here again if in the area but the experience would have been vastly more comfortable with the addition of availability of an inexpensive fan.

Great place to stay. The hotel is located in a 530 year old building in the center of the town. It is clean, comfortable, quiet and interesting looking. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast and parking location were great. Additionally, the price was right. I highly recommend it.

Nice hotel that seems completely set up for disable guests with wide doors, walk in shows and other practical steps. The rooms are big with wooden floors and are very clean. The hotel has a great location in the centre of the town and had a separate lockable room where we could secure our bikes. I would stay here again.

We were three couples who stayed there late September for our yearly hiking trip to the area. This time we decided to stay in the town of Deidesheim, not to far from our hiking destination Pfälzer-Wald. The place is perfect in many way, in the heart of the wine growing area Pfalz, there are many excellent restaurants in town, and last but not least there are some of the best wine-makers available.||The Gästehaus Ritter von Böhl is family owned and managed. Its buildings are half-timbered, some of them centuries old, well restored and maintained. The interior decoration is breath-taking, with modern furniture crafted from solid beech wood, and art work and collectors’ items everywhere in the corridors and stair cases. Breakfast is excellent, hospitality and friendliness stand out.

Hotel in the centre of town.We had a large room on the ground floor which was very handy however there was traffic noise and church bells ringing every fifteen minutes through the night. Some other rooms in the hotel were not disturbed by this noise.Good relaxing breakfast. The hotel has a cafe in the courtyard .Apple crumble and ice cream are to be recommended as is the spinach quiche.|Staff were friendly and helpful although the check in was a bit chaotic for a large group.|We got locked out of the hotel in the evening but other guests let us in.Reception needs to explain the system when you check in

We enjoyed coffee and cakes in their wonderful courtyard, just behind the church. Gigantic pieces of cake! They also served beer and local wine. Seemed like a very nice place to stay, but did not get the chance to try.
