Finca Lérida is a truly beautiful and peaceful escape in Boquete. The grounds are absolutely stunning—perfect for walking and taking in the vibrant flowers and incredible birdlife. It felt like a little piece of paradise. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, especially being so kind and sweet to our toddler daughter. A special highlight was being upgraded to a larger room, which was such a thoughtful surprise. The only downside was the coffee bean roaster, which can be a bit loud at night. It kept me up at first (though my husband had no trouble sleeping through it!), but once I turned on my sound machine, I slept well. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. The natural beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and warm hospitality make Finca Lérida a place we’d love to return to.

Absolutely gorgeous property full of flowers and birds. Nice trail to hike within the finca. The restaurant is great for dinner - great options and really wonderful flavors. The smoked tomato soup was one of my favorites. The included breakfast is made to order, with a nice selection, and also very good. Very very nice experience. The road between the finca and Boquete is good and easy enough to drive even at night in the dark. Easy to go back and forth from the finca to Boquete by car.

One of the most incredible trips I’ve had was immersing myself in the beauty of nature. This time, we chose to stay at a charming hotel nestled right in the heart of a coffee plantation. The grounds were adorned with vibrant flowers, and their inspiring efforts to promote bird conservation added even more meaning to the experience. A hiking trail winds through the plantation, offering the chance to breathe in the enchanting scent of coffee blossoms, a truly magical moment. The staff were attentive, warm, and always smiling. A special thanks to Luis, server, who took the time to share snippets of his life with us, making the experience feel personal and unforgettable. The dining was another highlight! Every dish was incredible, and the breakfast was a celebration of pure nature, just wholesome and fresh. I absolutely loved every moment of this trip!

I wasn't staying, I just paid for access to the trails in the area. I have to say that for me the price did not match the quality. The receptionist was nice, I got a map, but some of the trails were pretty unmaintained to impassable (fallen trees for example). I was probably most surprised that after 4pm access to the trails was supposedly forbidden. The receptionist and some local guide told me that the birds would be asleep by then anyway. So no, gentlemen, judging by other birding trips and my personal experiences, the birds were not really sleeping at that time, on the contrary it would be a fine time for birdwatching. Anyway, the trails probably wouldn't have been bad, just could have visited other trails in the area for about half the price or less. There were some sort of birdhouses in the area, but I didn't see any bird feeders. I would say there is plenty of better spots for birdwatching in this area. What I liked was the local restaurant, I liked the breakfast, the staff were very nice, the prices were higher. I don't quite think the accommodation here is worth the price, so if I visit this place again I would go here for breakfast at most.

A HIDDEN SLICE OF HEAVEN. Earlier this week, I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Finca Lérida in Boquete, and wow… this place is unreal. From the second you walk in, you feel like life just slows down in the best way. You are completely surrounded by nature, the crispest mountain air, and this peaceful energy that just melts stress off your shoulders. It literally makes you breathe deeper without even trying. But what truly made the experience unforgettable? The people. Our tour guide, José, was an angel. Seriously. So passionate, so knowledgeable—he lives for coffee and it shows in the way he talks about every single part of the process. From seed to cup, he broke it all down for us, and you could feel how much he loved sharing it. His joy was straight-up contagious. We even got to try a coffee bean right off the tree—personally bitter but felt FREAKING magical! The staff overall? Absolutely amazing. Everyone was so kind, so attentive—always there when you needed something but never in your space. My personal favorite was our sweet server Catherine (yes, we laughed over having the same name ). She had the best vibe, super attentive and good energy. Let us talk about the FOOD. Fresh, local, and made with pure love. They grow their own ingredients on-site. I watched a server walk out and literally pick mint from the garden to make a mint lemonade—and it tasted like emotional healing in a glass. And the house-made ice cream?? Creamy, flavorful, and so good it honestly didn’t feel real. And do not get me started on the rooms—beautiful, cozy, spotless, and so thoughtfully designed. Every detail was just right. Our room had the most peaceful view, and the hammock outside? I could have stayed in it forever. Laying there, listening to the birds, wrapped up in a blanket... it felt like the world stopped for a second. Finca Lérida is the definition of a hidden gem. If you ever find yourself in Boquete, you need to go. Come for the views, stay for the peace, and leave with your heart more full than it was before. Places like this remind you how beautiful, grounding, and soul-filling travel can really be.

Great remote little getaway. Rooms are rustic and basic but offer plenty of room and are well kept and clean. Staff is warm and friendly and happy to help any way they can. Coffee tour is a must. Cesar is amazing.

Located above 1650 meters (5414 feet) above sea level, in the beautiful and cold town of Boquete, in the Chiriqui highlands, you'll find Finca Lerida. One of the most beautiful and 100% operational coffee plantations in Panamá, Hotel and Finca Lerida, features suites of different sizes with beautiful decor. The farm itself officialy exists since 1911, so its one of the oldest farms in the country. The staff is friendly, courteous, and eager to make your stay comfortable. We do recommed bringing a coat, rain jacket or wind breaker as it can rain quite frequently and at night the temp can go as low as 15⁰C (58⁰F)

I should be giving it an excellent as it is a delightful place but the food was so bad that really dragged it down. Lunch was inedible, dinner a bit better, just very dull but enlivened by a bottle of good and reasonably priced Prosecco. Even the coffee was dreadful - on a coffee farm! The breakfast food was better than the other meals but a choice of either juice or coffee seems very cheese paring. The staff in the restaurant were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a terrace looking into the vibrant gardens. We had an excellent birding walk with a guide on the premises.
