Hotel Sempachersee (Nottwil, Canton of Luzern) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels
"There’s more going on in the Swiss countryside than mountain lodges and traditional Alpine chalets. Just outside of Lucerne is Lake Sempach, a lovely, tranquil place with decidedly less drama than the mountainous Lake Lucerne. And by its shores is the equally lovely, tranquil Hotel Sempachersee. Here, between the gently rolling hills of the farmland and the glassy waters of the lake, is an impressive piece of contemporary architecture and design, a monument in glass and cedar and a first-rate, extremely well-outfitted modern luxury hotel." - Tablet Hotels
I can highly recommend the hotel as congress & conference location. We had a two-day workshop with 60 people and already in the planning phase the personnel was very professional, always very responsive and solution-oriented. All our special requirements were met and made possible. All participants were happy with the food provided during the coffee breaks, for breakfast, lunch and dinner and overall satisfaction of the participants was high. Thanks for contributing to a successful workshop!

Ive been from 12th till 16th. I always leave my bags open with all my stuff and never had any problem. Yesterday when I check my bag I was missing items from my bag of value of €20. I can’t believe the staff who clean my room can stole something from my bag. Very bad. Never that happens to me before never ever. I was sleep in many hotels and never had any problem like that.

This hotel is quite cozy if you ask me. A bit of a shame that there is no air conditioning, but the cool air of the Alps sure help to mitigate that. I suppose you need to stay a while to appreciate the place. Staff was quite polite and pleasant to interact with. If I'm being honest, the bacon served at breakfast could be a little less hard (it might just be me, but it feels like I'm trying to tear apart a rock here). If you take the time to explore the location, you'll find that it's quite beautiful outside. Overall, I think I'd have been happy to stay a few more nights if my budget had allowed.

Super nice hotel, the only negative point is that it's huge and I lost 15 minutes to find my room because it is not well indicated , you gotta take 3 lifts, 1 bridge etc original though.
Breakfast was correct , the room also. Super nice idea to have an insect protection on the balcony on the ground floor to be able to open the window.
Staff was super nice , particularly Alessio at the reception and the lady cooking the breakfast.

The attitude of the front desk & restaurant manager ( even some of the waiters) was very BAD! Bad to the Asia customers! Extremely not recommend for Asia people! Otherwise you won’t get a good attitude! 👎👎👎
Update (21 Nov) reply to your reply : Yes, the next morning we went to the breakfast at 6:30. There’s only my group (15 members) and about 10 individuals guest only. ( and I saw there’s about 80 seat in your restaurant)Wondering why the front desk told me was fully booked. So your group can only go at 6:30.
one more thing is when my tour member
having the breakfast, and there’s still so many seat available, one of your waitresses (white people not Asia lady waitress) came to tell my tour member: you breakfast time is up 7:00. You have to leave NOW. My tour member tried to finish the half cup of juice then leave. BUT your waitress even grab out his cup. Took over the plate very rude. Ah! You Really Give my group only 30 mins to have breakfast, even there’s so empty in your restaurant. If this is not good attitude to asia people. How you say? 👎
