Place is clean, safe and secure. Lots of space. Equipped with kitchenette and fridge. Place stays cool and plenty of vents. Noise hardly noticeable but if light Sleeper, bring ear plugs. On-site secured parking. Restraunts within walking distances.

The place is very calm even though it is in the middle of the city, what makes it great because one can hit faster anywhere. It is quiet at night and private. I can't say anything about the restaurant or any dishes in particular, because we ate out, however we drank some beers and rum and the lady was nice, as well the front deks guy. The room was great, clean and the bathroom looked passed way clean. All the rooms are double full beds, which makes it great if you are traveling with a companion. What I mean is that the price for what you get is just great. I guess it makes it a great place just for sleep.

Located close to airport. Rooms are clean. Sevice was good. However, no AC and was street was a bit noisy with the window open.

This is a good place to stay if you need to be close to the airport. I arrived late and left early, so this worked out. The room was a good size and the balcony was nice. The price was also good. Two downsides: the tub in our room leaked onto the floor. There is one person working the front desk, and when I arrived late he was busy (turns out busy helping my friend with the leaking shower), so I was outside waiting late at night for a bit. It wasn’t easy to figure out how to notify someone that I was there.

Good place to stay for the price. Beds were comfortable, especially after spending a night at Popi's. Hot plate was good for cooking simple meals. The restaurant/cafe is a nice mellow spot to hang out. My boyfriend and I have no complaints about our stay here.

I really like the place, it affordable in a good zone. Just be prepare if you have light sleep that you will have all the noice of the airplanes. I went on winter and I did not need AC, be aware that they don't have AC and maybe you will need it for summer. But overall good place with great view and breakfast include.

Agree with a previous review this isn't exactly "spiffy" as per lonely plant, but it's cheap, the bed was comfy and the bathrooms moderately clean. There's 2 showers although one doesn't work, the water's not hot but it's not cold either. I can't grumble about the price! Only problem I had was I couldn't find the place - save yourself a lot of wandering and bee-line straight to El Descanso where you check in and can use wifi (just down the road.)

Listed first under lodging for Nebaj and called the town's "spiffiest" hostel by Lonely Planet, we decided to give it a try. There were three of us on a motorcycle trip and we only had enough time for one night in Nebaj. We checked in at El Descanso and were brought to our room in the hostel down the street. Most of the rooms are on the second floor, where there are two bathrooms, a couple comfy chairs and a small TV (no idea if it works). ||||We were given the only room on the first floor, and they actually let us drive the motorcycles into the building and park them in the hallway next to the room! Our room had two sets of bunk beds, a bare linoleum floor and a large table. My bed was hard as a rock but they gave us tons of wool blankets, which was much appreciated as it can get very cold at night in Nebaj. Our room was right next to a lawyer's office, and there was a door connecting the two that didn't quite reach high enough, so from the top you could actually look into his office through a large gap. On the other side of our room appeared to be a family's home. A very odd set up, but it worked. The bathrooms were pretty clean though I didn't test the showers. There is no wifi in the rooms, only in El Descano down the street, where we had dinner. I wouldn't exactly call this hostel spiffy but there aren't many options in Nebaj, and you can't beat the price!
