We have eaten at several restaurants serving local fare as we traveled thru Czechia. Then we ate at Restaurant Klika and we were served an extraordinary meal. Our starter was a delicious Jerusalem artichoke tartare. My husband had duck breast with red cabbage wrapped in pastry prepared to perfection. I had a wonderful moist pork roast with roasted potatoes & spaghetti squash with mustard sauce. This meal was absolutely the best meal of our trip. We highly recommend Klika!

Your hotel was great and the maid, the full-figured blonde, communicated with me in English. A very pleasant lady and also a rocker.

Rooms a bit old and warm. No fan or airco available. Good service very helpful staff.

The smallest overpriced room I've ever seen altought I stayed from late evening to early morning (stay advertised with room half the price). Tourist trap. The room was clean though, but due to its size and the small windows with no visibility (just for air to come in) I really felt unconfortable there. Would not recommend or sleep there a second time.

WORST FOOD I HAD IN A LONG TIME!!! Perhaps the chef can cook Czech classics, but definitely cannot venture out. Tarhonya with apricots and garlic sprouts was nothing but pasta with lots and lots of GARLIC and ONION! No other taste! Completely flat, no herbs no vegetable but tasteless zucchini, no oil, no cheese, no thyme no lemon peel. Just pasta + onion and garlic. The kids had stomach ache all night and were burping garlic and onion till the next day! The chef definitely need few years of foreign experience. To top it of - it is a restaurant which serves Budweiser beer and doesn't have the best 12 degree lager beer. Just the 11 degree average lager, typical Euro beer one can get anywhere in the world. It wasn't my first visit in the restaurant, but it was the last one. The only thing which is good is the location. Other than that it has a lot to desire.

I have visited the restaurant this week. The outside view while sitting at the outside Terrasse was very nice, nevertheless the food wasn't nice at all. I have ordered a standard czech traditional food Svickova, a czech roast beef with czech dumplings, which is generally quite tasty. At Klinka restaurant, the beef was very, very dry and I didn't finish it. I wasn't quite sure if the animal itself was old, or if the beef wasn't prepared properly or maybe some days before. As a dessert I took the apricot panacota cream with caramel sauce. Unfortunately the topping caramel sauce showed me, that even the dessert wasn't fresh and only from the fridge maybe from the day before. The panacota "cream" was like a pudding, due to the storage at a fridge, I guess. I don't recommend the restaurant for dinning, but for a good beer and a nice outside view it is okay. Sorry for the honesty.

We booked and paid a two room appartment in advance but as we arrived they gave us a cheaper three bed room because they had no appartment left. Unfortunatelly they didn't informed us. We just had to accept it. We didn't received any "sorry" nore a refund! Nothing and no friendly word. "Take it or leave". That is completly unacceptable in my opinion. But we had no choice. Bad service, bad communication but the location of the hotel is quiet good. Not recommended from my side. The Breakfast is very small and not very attractive.
