The rooms don’t offer much in the way of basic hotel expectations. Our stay included the following: No heat exchangers in any room (no way to control room temperature) Required to find/fabricate makeshift window prop. Open windows invite insects Room esthetics are on point for 1993 Unenclosed small fridge random location on floor No room prep, no toilet paper, shaving kit, bath/shower soap, no place to store soap while using shower (used shower floor) Shower temperature is random (drastic temperature changes), with very little water pressure Bathroom has unpleasant lingering order Insect husks scattered over floor Random unplugged desk lamps, with no desk Wi-Fi is as reliable as aforementioned shower with standard 2.4 GHz No USB ports (standard for charging) Door to room is ‘secured’ with physical skeleton key affixed to a cork Breakfast has all the offerings of leftovers from a better hotel with coffee that could pass for tea With all this said, Hotel Casablanca is very charming and inviting until entering your room. The two pools are well maintained. The staff is wonderful. The food is amazing. I would consider another stay if the owners care enough to update.

Rooms were a bit tired and dated and it was also freezing. The front of house staff were great when they were there and the restaurant staff were good even though we were the only people there. Food in the restaurant is okay but clearly not freshly made as there are so few people there (we went in September).

We loved the hotel! It’s a beautiful space in gorgeous Chile with an amazing staff, great amenities and a very convenient location. The process from booking to checking out was very smooth and the place itself is very beautiful. 100% recommended if you’re looking for a nice relaxing stay in Chile!

My residence at the hotel was very pleasant. The staff was lovely, rooms very comfortable and the nature beautiful. Overall great experience. If you’re looking to enjoy your stay at Chile and feel at home, I definitely recommend!

Nice room, the room is a bit old but in good condition. The restaurant was good,. nothing special. Breakfast was okish, it could have a bit more IMO. The pool and terrace look nice. There is a industry zone close by, so you hear trucks passing by during the day. Not annoying for me but be aware it is not a super quiet place.

Excellent hotel ! 1 outdoor pool, 1 indoor and a yacuzzi. Breakfast is rather basic, lunch very tasty. Be aware that there might not be any dinner ! Rooms are very nice, especially the family room number 15.

We came to Chile as soon as Chile opened its borders for foreigners after pandemic got under control more or less. We had a dinner at Casablanca hotel first after visiting wineries and the next day we stayed for one night before going back to Vina Del Mar. The service was excellent and people who worked there have gone out of their way to help us. The rooms are big. There are a lot of birds in the garden. So far I have had great experience not only at this hotel but everywhere in Chile. Amazingly friendly people! We are coming back in March again!

Casablanca Hotel & Spa has potential, but as it is currently managed I cannot recommend it. For the price, the facility itself is beautiful but the service is poor. For example, my wife and I tried the "Wine Therapy." The lady led us to the room, pointed at the hot tube and left. The room had dead looking plants, and we had to ask for the glass of wine that was included after our time was over. We have other examples, but I won't belabor the point here. At the end of the stay, I had to argue not to pay the local 19% hotel tax (IVA) because foreigners are excluded AND the hotel has a detailed explanation on their web page. I travel to Chile often and never had that issue at a hotel. For the price we paid, I would look for a better service elsewhere.
