Hacienda Cortes is a beautiful, historic property with a hotel and spa. The gardens and restaurant are gorgeous. We went for brunch and enjoyed the food and strolled through the gardens and historic structures. This site was at one time a sugar refinery, a distillery and a grand hacienda. It is a wonderful place to visit and enjoy a meal. We did not stay in the hotel or use the spa, but the facilities are very well maintained. The service at the restaurant was above average and the food was well presented and delicious.

I normally don't write reviews. But this place deserves a raving review. We came for my daughter's wedding. It was a magical place. The gardens are spectacular. The housekeeping was so nice and kept the rooms spotless and refilled. Always smiling. The wait staff were so efficient and friendly. Everyone from the front desk to security and in between were so friendly. Despite my best efforts at Spanish the staff and I always figured out what we needed with a good laugh and lots of hand gestures. The wedding planner Dianna is amazing and everyone she suggested for the photographer , officiant, make up ladies and florist were just wonderful. Thank you everyone at the beautiful hotel for making our wedding a dream come true.

We were guests at a wedding that was celebrated there and it was fantastic! From the ceremony to the party, everything was phenomenal, the ambience was fantastic and the food was unparalleled! By far the best wedding I've ever been to! ♥️

Wonderful experience! I want to start with a big shoutout to Karen, from the Spa who took care of me since I communicated with them through WhatsApp. I was able to get a Spa Day Pass and had a great experience. She guided me through the process and gave recommendations. Upon arrival, she continued her excellent service. I went to the restaurant for breakfast with my family and then the rest of the time on my own. She had the jacuzzi turned on for me to be able to enjoy it! I had a Jamaica mezcal margarita that was delicious! Then, Adriana did my pedicure and I was super attentive and kind. My relaxing massage was indeed relaxing thanks to Esperanza! I enjoyed a relaxing time at the sauna and the waiting room with a berries tea. Then I had dinner and enjoyed a delicious mushroom and flor de calabaza soup, salmon, and aperol spritz, best way to end the day! I will come back next time visit and bring family/ friends to join!

The windows should be sound-proof in order to isolate the noise of the events they offer. The attention and resolution of the employees at the front desk was deplorable. They were just playing with their phones and no intention to find a solution to any problem. The room smeeled like drain and the condition of the bathroom must be improved. The room was over-priced. No good value for money

Visited during the week and we practically had the hotel for ourselves, we enjoyed the pool, walking around the gardens, and personal attention. The history of this place is so amazing it was our main reason to stay here.|The restaurant food is some of the best we have had in Mexico, everything is so delicious you can’t go wrong. I especially loved the quesadillas de flor de calabaza.|The only thing I really disliked was the area surrounding the hotel, didn’t feel|safe to walk at all, even taxi driver mentioned it wasn’t safe. Too far from|Downtown Cuernavaca so make sure you are willing to take taxi/Uber every where you need to go.

We photographed Sarah and James’ wedding here and it was gorgeous! The Hacienda offers a unique mix of history, tranquility and luxury. It’s a jewel of Mexican colonial architecture combining Spanish and pre-Hispanic elements…transports you to another era! It’s also huge. Its various old structures such as the Main House, the Chapel and the Aqueduct are located in the same property which gave us ease and comfort as we moved from scenery to scenery and of course got many beautiful pictures through the hole wedding day :) The staff was always very attentive, professional and dedicated to help me and my team get the perfect shots. This is a very magical place with exceptional service and It is an ideal destination for those couples looking for a unique and unforgettable wedding at the place of the eternal spring.

Yelp
The worst night sleep ever at such a high price. It is 12am and the party outside our room is still going reverberating into our room as if we are there. This place is so expensive for this. When we called the front desk they said the party will continue until 2am and all they can offer is ear plugs. Oh! And the food is awful. We do not recommend.

Yelp
We got married here last week! Barbara Guadarrama facilitates events for the hacienda. We were thoroughly pleased with her communication over the past year that we've been planning, and her help on the day of our wedding. The hacienda is a magical place with an exquisite restaurant where we hosted our rehearsal dinner. Our guests were both international and Mexican nationals, and everyone couldn't stop raving about their experience at the hacienda. I can't wait to come back for anniversaries and future family trips.

Yelp
This was on the top restaurants to visit in Cuernavaca and I see why. I usually like to go to at least one really nice place on a vacation. This place is AMAZING. 5 stars. The food, the ambiance and the live band. The band and music was exquisite. Perfection. It's more in Tepotzlan so about a 20 minute Uber from Cuernavaca. It is worth it.

Yelp
An amazing dining room in an historic hacienda. Loved the steak arranchera. Be sure to walk around the property. Very beautiful!

Yelp
Fabulous hotel and honestly not that pricy for the experience. The hacienda is beautiful and pretty large with gardens, a swimming pool, and a nice restaurant. Our room was very comfortable with nice beds and a good view of the hacienda. The service was very friendly and helpful, especially with transporting our bags to and from the car given the room is kind of far from parking since it's so big. There's a ton of history here too given it was a Hacienda belonging to Cortés! Definitely recommend staying here if you like history and overall just a nice resort.

Yelp
For me, the atmosphere made this a 5 star location before I even ate. The idea of eating in a 450 year old ruins just blows me away... trees growing into the walls... an aqueduct running below the wine cellar... amazing. I wish I remember the names of the items I ordered (they're not on the web site.) My salad was *really* delicious. It had a couple different kinds of lettuce, strips of chicken, tomatoes, cheese, and a lime/bacon sauce that was incredible. The entree, salmon stuffed with mushrooms and spinach was ok (the spinach taste overpowered it) but I'd order something different if I went back.

Yelp
Great service, food is good, beautiful space. How many restaurants are also an UNESCO world heritage site.

Yelp
I was here 26 years ago and the its still beautiful. The pool is supercool but you need to have the front desk heat it and the spa when its off season since they are into to conserving power. The Rooms require chipped keys to activate the power. The food there is absolutly amazing but expensive for Mexico but still affordable. I do not recommend this for families of 5 in 1 room as they do not provide extra pull out beds. Beds are comfortable. If you are a couple looking to get away this is a cool place.

Yelp
Beautiful, luscious gardens surround this Spanish style hacienda. At night you might enjoy the sound of a rainstorm, which routinely visit Cuernavaca, pouring on the stone hull of the old building. Even though it is a hotel, visitors are welcome to enter the restaurant and it's surroundings. The food is all traditional Mexican cuisine. The quality is good, but not extraordinary. Even so, it is well worth the visit just to enjoy the scenery. Visitors must be prepared to embrace a slow food experience.
