Hotel & Spa La Belle Juliette

This is a perfect location where you can easily walk to so much, yet is on a quiet side street away from noise. The staff is incredibly helpful in all ways, and always greet you with a pleasant demeanor and smile. There is a spa downstairs as well, should you need - facials, massages, and a cute little pool. Rooms are all decorated differently, and thoughtful charm goes into all. I will return on my next trip here, no question. Don't hesitate to reserve.

We have just returned from staying at the Hotel and Spa La Belle Juliette. This hotel was recommended by our friends who live in Switzerland . It is there "go to hotel" and I now understand why. This boutique hotel will not disappoint. It is well situated close to the bus , metro and neighbourhood shopping .The neighbourhood has a local feel to it. We had the base room ,which didn't have alot of storage space but certainly was very comfortable with an excellent bed , quality bed linens and renovated shower facilities ( no bath) We did not have the breakfast but did have coffee in the upscale breakfast room looking into the modern garden and colourful lounge with a gas fireplace. Bring a bathing suit. The pool is small but warm and the wet sauna is a treat after a day in Paris. The facility is very clean. Staff very accommodating. This is the perfect jewel.

Eight girlfriends from different US cities and London met in Paris for a long weekend. We were greeted by the very pleasant, professional and welcoming Natasha. In the run up to our visit I exchanged several emails with Nolwenn and Kenia to arrange lunch and dinner reservations - they had the best recommendations and each place was better than the one before! We had such fun! The rooms were comfortable and very clean and housekeeping did a great job tidying up while we were out. We spent a couple nights with Marjorie in the lounge and there was another saint who put up with us until very late and I regret I cannot recall her name! The entire staff was lovely! We will definitely recommend La Belle Juliette to friends for future visits! THANK YOU!

Our room was beautiful, with a stained glass window. The toiletries are fabulous and everything was clean, quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet also. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff, always helpful and friendly. I must say a word about the lovely Natasha, who was especially helpful to us. Her help went way beyond formal courtesy, revealing a truly ind and generous heart.

This is a small, boutique-type hotel, in a wonderful neighborhood on the Left Bank. It is conveniently and highly accessible by metro, but it is not in a highly-trafficked tourist area. There are excellent restaurants and a good array of retail shops and services (supermarket, patisseries, pharmacies, etc.) as well as the Bon Marche department store in the neighborhood. My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at the Belle Juliette. The hotel staff was kind and helpful. We would like to especially thank "Junior' -- we do not know his actual name but he identified himself this way -- who was especially attentive to all the guests' needs in the breakfast room. A small point that could be addressed -- at times, the housekeeping was a bit inconsistent. Various items (washcloths, hand towels, tissues) were provided on some days, while on others we had to request such. Nevertheless, we are grateful to all of the staff for taking care of us during our very recent stay.

Loved this hotel, but the hallways are extremely dark, so impractical to navigate. Ironically you don’t even appreciate the dark blue walls with gold stars aesthetic because there isn’t even enough light to reflect them. The addition of twinkly lights would be perfect. I stayed in the largest room in the hotel, but there was no full length mirror except a very narrow one hiding in the wardrobe, which seems like a strange oversight given the available wall space. Rooms are very quiet and comfy for excellent sleep - the most important part of which was the solid AC, which they have. There was also no kettle for hot tea, but after a few days without tea it occurred to me to ask the front desk for one and they had one, albeit of plastic. But then I only had espresso demitasse cups to drink it out of so I kept making mini teas. I would have paid an extra $30 a night for mugs, a kettle, and a milk frother. Very appreciative of the flowers in my room which were thoroughly enjoyed my entire week here and the staff were all very kind and helpful. My little pup also had everything she needed, and the breakfast buffet was great. I really tend to want my coffee either well before or well after my breakfast so the limited in-room beverage bar and the dark hallways were the only deficiencies. Oh and the woman who does massages at the spa is excellent and very caring. Would stay again.

Great hotel, great location too. The sauna and spa was a nice touch (especially coming back from a cold day exploring before dinner). Breakfast a was good spread with fresh juices available.

I love the location of Hotel La Belle Juliette. Rue du Cherche is perfect, a local Parisian street, with great cafes, restaurants and wonderful shops. It is also very conveniently located for most of the main sights - very pleasant walking distance. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms (although not large) are very well laid out. I return every year.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was a disaster. First I will advise anyone over 50 to stay clear as you need to climb over a 3 ft side to enter the tub which has no overhead shower. This is an extremely dangerous situation. Our travel agent told us that we would get complementary champagne, a free room upgrade and a spa credit. On arrival we were told no upgrade even though the next group received one, no champagne although they later changed this and finally no spa credit. The worst part is our original plans changed which I confirmed 3 days prior to arrival. ( they claim changes can be made up to 24 hours prior to arrival. The hotel refuses to acknowledge an email they responded to. Stay clear of this hotel.

Note: The name of this hotel is actually Hotel & Spa La Belle Juliette. That's an important note because when you take the lift to the cellar, you enter a serene spa complete with pool, steam room and tea. It's the perfect start to a full day touring Paris! This is a sweet boutique hotel located in Saint Germaine, within walking distance to the metro, shops and restaurants. The room was average sized for European standards and I found the bathroom to be larger than most. Service was wonderful during our 3 night stay. I had coffee in the lounge every morning and wine in the heated outdoor patio at night. Everyone was kind and helped me with directions, getting cabs, laundering my jeans, storing luggage, etc. Yay! I'm a fan!

I snagged a room here on Hotel Tonight last-minute. The rooms here are SO beautifully designed and the location is great. I don't think we got the full/normal experience because our stay was during the December 2019 transit strike; the hotel was likely understaffed and the employees seemed a bit stressed and were slightly rude. My room wasn't ready until 1.5 hours after the scheduled check-in time, and I had nowhere to go and nothing to do but fall asleep in front of the lounge area fireplace, because the bar was not yet open for the night. (The bar/lounge/dining area is really stylish and colorful.) My patience was rewarded with an upgrade to the largest suite, which was phenomenally gorgeous, thoughtfully furnished, spotlessly clean, and about as large as my NYC apartment. We checked out the spa area in evening. It's quite cozy and pretty, but there were no staff present and the whole place was strewn with discarded towels and used dinnerware, I assume due to the aforementioned transit strike issues. Despite the kinks, I would stay here again.

I love this place. Have stayed here several times. Great boutique hotel at a great neighborhood location. Brought friends with us this time. We had hiccups with the front desk more than a few times. We requested reservations in local restaurants that were confirmed to find out later they were never made or the restaurant had no longer existed. Asking for AC to be fixed and assured it was when it had not been done. Explained the phone was not operating after an early morning fire alarm... assured it would be fixed... but again it did not work. In the end everything was fixed, room changed and such but we had to complain repeatedly to get that done. Sorry to say this because everyone at the front desk was always so pleasant and welcoming. Something in the chain is not working.

COOLEST HOTEL EVER! Stayed there with my girlfriend last month and had an amazing time. By first the nicest AND coolest hotel I've stayed at. Top notch service and top notch rooms. Macs in each room, fun pool and steam room in the basement, VERY cool bar, espresso machines in rooms, and SUPER helpful staff. Paris has lots of great hotels, this is definitely near the top. If you're looking for a fun place to stay in a killer area of the city--much cooler than staying near the champs--this is the place for you. We can't wait to go back there.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Every room is thoughtfully and elegantly designed. The staff will be your best friends by the end of the trip. And the location can't be beat. I found myself taking pictures of every last detail of the place--it is that lovely. If you plan to stay in St. Germain and can swing the cost, you will be very happy you did. What a magical place.

We stayed here 3 nights, and had the most amazing visit. As you can see if from the images this hotel is charming and beautifully appointed. What you don't know till you arrive is how thoughtful and amazing the staff is. All of them were special but our two favorites were Juliette (yes that's her name ) and Thibaut. Our first night there we ordered a bottle of Moët to celebrate, there was a communication issue (because our French is awful) they brought 2 glasses and when we explained that we wanted the bottle they immediately brought it up comped the first 2 glasses. In addition they made reservations at restaurants, helped arrange our cab service when we left, and when they discovered we were engaged they sent us champagne! I can not imagine staying anywhere else when we visit Paris next!

There is no way to exaggerate the superiority of this hotel to others in the neighborhood in its class. Everything is new, clean, thoughtfully presented and beautifully designed. The staff is truly exceptional in their willingness to go above and beyond to ensure the happiness of their guests. In a word, parfait!

We loved our stay at this hotel. Fantastic location in a cool little residential neighborhood right near the heart of St. Germain and around the corner from Bon Marche. This hotel is wonderfully designed - the interior is cool and modern yet keeps the original charm of old world Paris and has one of the most beautiful staircases I have ever seen. Macs in every room, free wi-fi and the staff was beyond accommodating, especially Diego and Julie! They go above and beyond to get you whatever you need. There is construction going on next door; however, it doesn't occur on weekends and doesn't start until 8am on weekdays so we didn't find it all that bothersome. All in all, fantastic stay!!

We stayed here for 7 nights, went thru a travel agent and were very excited. The hotel is lovely, rooms very small and is currently under construction which we were not aware of. Breakfast is not included and should be just for the inconvenience of the work being done. When asked about adding breakfast to our stay, they wanted 20 euro per day and said because it was book thru Orbitz they would not do it and could not give a discount because it was book thru Orbitz, un beknownced to us as we used an agent. Next time we will book direct like we always have. The other odd thing is you cannot use a blow dryer in the bath because do some fires/safety regulation. So very difficult to even use a blow dryer as no mirrors in the bedroom where you have to use the blow dryer. The staff was very nice but seem to run on a very tight budget. I was frankly a bit disappointed in the few things. Very clean and the staff were nice and for the most part helpful, but frankly for the amount of money we paid they should have discounted something for all the noise!
