We had a great 2-night stay here while visiting Font de Gaume, Sarlat and other nearby towns. ||The price was surprisingly good and the value/cost ratio was amazing. ||The room was modern, clean and everything worked as intended. We were here during very hot days (> 100 F, 37 C) and we appreciated that the room a/c had no issues keeping our room cold. The pool was also lovely and refreshing. ||We had good interactions with the staff, they were helpful, relaxed, and spoke english well.||We had lunch at the Bistro, the food was great, highly recommended as well.

What an unexpected gem of a hotel it was on our cycling holiday in the Dordogne in early May! We absolutely loved our room, a nice tote bag gifted to us by the hotel, the wonderful breakfast, the gorgeous garden, and most helpful people working at the reception and the hotel. But the most memorable thing about our stay at Les Glycines was a gastronomic experience we had there at our dinner. The attention to detail in presentation, the deep knowledge of the dishes and ingredients by the waiting staff, their charm and professionalism, the chefs’ imaginative ideas and unparalleled techniques, the celebration of the local seasonal ingredients, and the inventiveness of the dishes, all made that dinner an absolute pleasure and a gastronomic highlight of our trip through the Dordogne area. Thank you everyone who works at the hotel and in the kitchen. You made our 2-nights stay at Les Glycines very memorable.

The massage is highly recommended. |The restaurant in the evening was an equally fantastic experience, accommodating, friendly and professional staff and a wonderful flavour experience.|The next morning after a restful sleep and a great breakfast we left as new people.|We highly recommend Hôtel Les Glycines. We will return.|THANK YOU

Les Glycines is a marvelous hotel with a terrific staff and a deservedly Michelin starred restaurant. It combines a rustic old world atmosphere with fully modern infrastructure and facilities, including EV charging stations. Beautiful grounds, a peaceful pool that’s open late, an easy walk to the center of town, and an easy drive to the region’s many prehistoric sites, it makes for a relaxing and fascinating vacation. We’ve been there twice, and will be back when we can be.

Small room with non functioning air conditioning, too warm to get a good night’s sleep. |We spoke to management who offered an alternate room but said we’d have to pay extra. A fan would have helped but they did not have any. We heard other guests complaining about the lack of air conditioning. |The dog is cute and gentle but wanders around the public areas, we didn’t appreciate having it come up and nudge us while we were eating our breakfast.|Some of the staff have quite an attitude, customer service does not seem to be a priority.|They seem to trade on having a Michelin one star restaurant.

Comfortable hotel with lovely garden and many amenities. We stayed here 2 nights while on a bike tour. A hand written note greeted us which is a lovely touch. Service throughout our stay was exceptional. Staff are very attentive, polite, and quick to respond. Restaurant was divine and has an extensive wine cellar. We had 2 dinners here and food was fresh, bursting with flavour, and imaginative (without being gimmicky). Our room was spotless and well equipped. Beds were comfortable with good linens. I would definitely stay here again. Small point to improve would be to add a heavier curtain to block out the outdoor lighting. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you to the wonderful staff 🧡 Pro tip: request a room facing the garden area for the view

Excellent location at the end of the town and walkable to village restaurants and the museum. The hotel seemed newly renovated. Our room adjoined a well manicured park. The decor is contemporary and comfortable. Dinner at the gourmet restaurant was excellent but the breakfast was disappointing with too few choices for the price.

Nestled in the Dordorgne valley on the edge of the hamlet of Les Eyzies (home to the caves of our forefathers ~ Cro Magnon) Les Glycines is now a Michelin star rated hotel. My family stayed there for three nights in 3 clean, fresh, quiet, air-conditioned rooms. Camille, the energetic and welcoming front desk lady, was very helpful. We had dinner at the beautiful terrace overlooking the gardens and pool. The dinner was delicious, and the the attention to every detail was impressive. Service, location, friendliness and attentiveness were all excellent. I will be back, and take advantage of the spa next time!

Yelp
LeBistro at Les Glycines is a disappointment from start to finish. Starting with the location ( right on the main highway, your view from the restaurant). The staff excisting out of a very nice girl and (sorry to say) Forrest Gump with an attitude! When we tried to make a reservation online it was fully booked, but by phone wide open??? The specials were sold out at this nearly empty restaurant (REALLY?)and they offer nothing for kids.. The food is average, the Fois grass terrine taste like nothing, the burgers were good. We have had great service during our trip in France but in this small town in the middle of nowhere it was absolutely terrible!

Yelp
The room and bath were very nice. The location is just outside the Main Street area but walkable to everywhere. The spa part of the hotel is only access able to guests if an additional fee is paid. The outdoor pool is open to guests. The dining room and hotel have a somewhat unfriendly feel.

Yelp
Food is high quality but portions are small and staff is standoffish. Hotel itself is beautiful but restaurant facade ruins the look and fronts a busy road.
