Hôtel & Spa Royal Madeleine

This is a beautiful hotel in a convenient location. My favorite feature was a gorgeous spacious terrace with a retractable canopy off our floor 6 room. The room itself was a bit crowded but comfortable. The third bed was a pull out. We were expecting three twins for the three of us. The AC worked great and the room was very clean. Breakfast was just OK. I expected more from a fancy Parisian hotel.

The rooms are perfectly clean and the beds are very comfortable, TV has a chromecast so it’s great for watching movies. Our terrace room exceeded our expectations, it’s a spacious area with furniture and shade perfect for lounging outside. The atmosphere itself is really pleasant, the staff are all so kind and understanding, would love to come again ❤️

Everything was great! The staff is super helpful and friendly! The breakfasts are small, but its all you need. The room is nice. The view - gorgeous!

Location was wonderful, staff very friendly. Our room was upgraded however the pictures online did not match the room we got, even after upgrade. NIL effort made to rectify this from hotel, not even a free drink at the bar they just said they cannot help and contact hotel.com. hotel.com said to speak to the hotel as its their images. Was advertised as Queen bed and the images show big room with couch. We had a double bed only and they said the images show superior room but we booked classic room. Was the first hotel on our holiday so did not want to argue and cause myself to be upset but this false advertising is disappointing. Everything was otherwise wonderful there, breakfast not great value, dont recommend adding this.

I had an amazing experience at this 4-star hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly professional, attentive, and welcoming. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, making my stay even more comfortable. The restaurant was simply outstanding, offering exquisite dishes with top-quality ingredients. A special mention to the maître d’hôtel, who provided flawless service and made every meal a delight. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high-end experience with perfect service. I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at the Hotel & Spa Royal Madeleine April 4-8 2025. Coming from the US I was on a short visit to spend time with my sister who lives in Milan. We thought it would be fun to explore a new city together. Immediately I was greeted by the friendly staff who was very accommodating. Solene at the front desk is very friendly and knowledgeable about the neighborhood. She welcomed us by sending us 2 complimentary drinks at the hotel bar as well as macaroons to our room! She immediately asked me when I’d like to Visit the spa and helped me book our time slot. I had requested an ironing board/ iron/ extra pillow and all came within 5 minutes of me asking, which was super appreciated! I had to leave my bags at the hotel before accessing my room. When I returned from my walk and got access to my room she already had all of our stuff sent up so we didn’t have to lift a finger. Solene is a wonderful and i hope to be able to stay here again soon!

We stayed at this hotel for a business meeting. Initially, we wanted to leave our luggage at the hotel and return two days later to stay again. The hotel said, due to security reasons, they couldn’t keep luggage for more than one day, and we agreed. Since we were coming back at 11 PM, we asked for a late check-out the next day. The hotel agreed at the time, but later didn’t honor it. They claimed there was no record of our request, and the night staff didn’t understand the situation. We had booked two separate rooms, one for each person, but the hotel thought it was one room for two people. I asked them to check our booking again, and they finally found it. However, they didn’t apologize and spoke to us in a rude and loud manner. The service at this hotel is poor and unprofessional. I don’t recommend staying here.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ! Reasons: 1. Awful service: no one greets you, they hang up the phone on you. 2. We specifically requested preparation for a specific event and they ignored it completely. Not even a congratulations as curtesy 3. We requested to change the room and they ignored. 4. Does not look luxurious as the pictures, very basic, Airbnb would be MUCH better ! 5. No bellman 6. No help at all what so ever 7. All the staff are rude or non existant. Untrained. 8. We asked to cancel the stay, they didn’t even bother to ask why. 9. Location is bad, for the same price you can book a place next in Champs. 10. They did not tell us that we had access to the spa facilities for free, we discovered the information on our own, on the last night of our stay. 11. They asked us to pay for breakfast, we never had breakfast at the hotel! 12. They made us pay for a tax we never heard of, 8 euros per day for each person without explaining what it is. 13. We asked for an early check in and late check out, they refused both requests claiming the hotel was fully booked. IT WAS NOT (rooms were available on booking and their website). 14. Awful view, no privacy. 15. metro is far. 16. No one told us about the restaurants, the menu, the facilities in the building, timings, activities, nothing ! 17. The hotel does not have security. 18. It was raining, no one offered an umbrella. 19. Staff had attitude 20. Felt happy to finally check out ! In conclusion: If luxury and relaxation is your need, then you will be disappointed. EXPECT THE BARE MINIMUM AND EVEN WORSE. Barely a two stars hotel.
