"Melt in Mendoza's Thermal Baths If you’re looking for a day of grape-free respite in Mendoza, head off-the-grid to the hot springs of Cacheuta. The Terma Spa welcomes guests with an assemblage of thermal baths overlooking the scenic Mendoza River flowing downstream from the Andes. The indoor/outdoor thermal spa circuit winds through waters ranging in temperature from 73 to 105 degrees. Bubble beds, a water volcano and foot baths are strategically placed throughout the circuit to knead tense muscles. The Natural Solarium has a basin of therapeutic mud for slathering all over your body and baking on the pool deck. Scrub yourself clean in the bithermal hydrojet shower and kick back on the flowering Andaluz patio. Next, head underground to the vaporarium and detoxify in its natural steam. Relax in the verdant garden until you’re ready for an afternoon spa treatment or another convalescing soak in Cacheuta’s healing mineral waters."

We only went to the Spa for the day, but it was fantastic. The location is amazing and so picturesque, and the staff took really good care of us. The Spa is excellent with plenty of space so it doesn't feel too cramped. The buffet lunch was excellent and the whole experience was good value for money.

Amazing experience at the spa. We got a “connect to your body” experience of sort which was very nice and relaxing. The place merits a lot and the food was amazing too. I wasn’t particularly excited about the Asado when I saw the variety of salads and greens that they had. Amazing experience. Don’t go very early as it can be pretty chilly until the sun comes up

Very relaxing Sunday with hot springs and massage. Did the full day pass with lunch booked through their website. Recommend to arrive right before 10 to ensure you can check in and sign up for a massage as they have limited spaces for the 30 minute slots. Fortunately arrived right before a large group and got spots for my husband and me. Very reasonable considering the setting- 13,000 pesos for relaxing and 15,000 pesos for deep tissue. (Less than $13 and $15 respectively) very relaxing and with clean facilities. Rent a robe for 2000 peso and you can wear it to lunch. Many different temperatures of the pools starting at the top with the hottest and then getting subsequently cooler the further down the slope. They did have a mud area to slather and bake/ rinse but we did not partake. Did seem more hygienic than the mud baths that I’ve seen in Calistoga as it was like a chocolate fountain. Lunch is asado (lots of different meats of various toughness) and lots of different salads and grilled vegetables and fried (though cold) fritters of different types. Bring a water bottle as they have water and glasses but you can not bring the glasses into the pools. Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses and hat! Overall a very chill day!

It's a beautiful location, but it goes downhill from there. They might as well remove the spa from the name. Unless you are staying there, don't plan on anything. Massages... You can't make reservations for a massage ahead of time. We showed up right when they opened at 10, and all but one 1/2 hour of massage was booked. Yep, they only book a 1/2 hour massages. They only had 2 masseuses working. And no other spa services. No facials, pedicures, couples massages, nothing. They will ONLY provide you with 2 towels: one before lunch and one after lunch. This means you get to go to lunch with a wet towel. Lunch was very disappointing and close to not worth eating. All the meats were way overcooked, and the buffet was disjointed. For the most part, there are no other beverage options besides wine and beer. These are only available for purchase in the restaurant, and there is no beverage service anywhere else on the property. The "thermal* smelled more of chlorine than normal thermal water.

I stayed 2 nights. It’s very much sub 3* and they mainly cater for day visitors who are there all day. Martin and Gladys at check in were super welcoming. The staff in general are very friendly - my Spanish speaking is poor but they were nice about it. However felt quite excluded and disappointed not to be informed of events like a wine tasting on the 2nd night (probably as I don’t speak Spanish?) and noting some guests being given guided tours of the facilities whilst I was left to my own devices after checkin. If you want luxury you’d be better off booking somewhere like the Diplomatic. This place is too expensive for what it offers. The thermal pools are lovely but there’s a lot of day trippers having same experience for fraction of cost. It would have been nice to have some hours where the pools/facilities are for exclusive use of hotel residents. The large outdoor thermal pool is open until midnight though and the setting is tranquil and beautiful. Unfortunately for the price I’d have expected the food/dinner to be amazing but it was pretty poor. Since I was staying 2 nights I got a 30min massage included and Fernando was lovely but if you’ve been trekking this will not be adequate. Drinks are not included with meals but they have a pretty decent wine list. Overall the rooms could do with updating and if dinner/breakfast was better and drinks included it may be worth staying. WiFi was good which I wasn’t expecting considering location. I’d say it’s overpriced for what it is but setting is stunning and tranquil especially when day visitors are gone.

This hotel is horrendous in every single aspect. The service is unhelpful and there’s no sense of hospitality, the rooms are barebones with barely functioning parts, and the spa itself doesn’t have enough staff and the bathrooms are clogged. It was so bad I left through my reservation and I truly hope no one makes the decision to stay there. Mendoza is a beautiful place and there are many other places to stay. DO NOT WASTE TIME / MONEY here. And to the hotel, learn to do better. Argentina is a beautiful country with lovely hospitality culture. Learn from that.

Truly awful experience. We had hiked Aconcagua and were really looking forward to a relaxing experience, but this was far from that. The hotel was under renovation, so it was noisy, had construction workers in and out at all times, and was full of dust. The rooms were extremely hot, no mini fridge, and when we grabbed a water bottle from the lobby we were told it was “not up for grabs”. The hotel bathrooms were not even clean. Service was awful. They did not have massages available upon arrival, but when we tried to book in advance we were told we had to book upon arrival. If you’re traveling in Argentina, I recommend you skip this hotel altogether. The price does not match the experience you get here. Look elsewhere in Mendoza.

Great place for relaxation. The staff was kind and polite. The hotel is right in the middle of mountains and surrounded by the river

Yelp
Beautiful slice of heaven! So glad we spent a day here! It was impossible to get a day pass for the spa, so we signed up for the mindfulness day. It was a full, silly, relaxing day of pool exercises, hot and cold springs, mud baths, walking on rocks for some footwork, sauna, and then a sound bath (not sure what else to call it!) that was amazing. We had some time to explore the spa for a few hours on our own too, and enjoyed the massive buffet lunch and some wine at the hotel restaurant. It is difficult to get to this spot without a car of your own or staying at a bigger hotel in Mendoza, but we made cabs work!

Yelp
These natural thermal pools and spa are located alongside the Mendoza river, approximately 1 hour drive from Mendoza city. The cost (~43US$ per person) to visit the pools includes a lunch buffet which reportedly is really nice but we had lunch plans at a nearby winery so we didn't eat there. If you want to visit the thermal pools only without having to pay for the lunch then you can only do it in the afternoon (from 3-6:30 pm). Upon arriving to the spa we were greeted, checked in and provided information about the facility. Robes are available for rent and the cost is 100 Argentinian pesos for each robe. These are not really necessary while you're enjoying the pools, however you will need to have either a robe or be fully clothed once you enter the restaurant area. After checking in we were given a tour of the facilities and then taken to the locker room/changing area which is also where the bathrooms, showers and saunas are. There are several pools, both covered and uncovered, each with varying temperatures which go from lukewarm to really hot water, a mud therapy area, a wet and a natural sauna, as well as lounging chairs. The pools are surrounded by mountains and there is so much greenery all around, truly a beautiful sight that makes this experience that much more memorable. The drive to this place is totally worth it as it is an amazing spot for total relaxation, however if we were to visit again we probably would consider staying in the hotel for one night so we had more time to enjoy the pools and schedule some spa services.

Yelp
Make sure you go to the NATURAL SPA and not the water park! I feel like a lot of the negative reviews are from people who went to the wrong place. In addition to the thermal baths, the spa also offers massage. It was lovely and super inexpensive. The windows were open and you could hear the water and the birds outside. The natural hot springs are legit one of the most gorgeous places I have ever seen in the world. A one hour drive from Mendoza, they're not too inaccessible, but it feels like you are a world away. The thermal spas are nestled high in the mountains, right along the river. There are baths of every temperature, some indoor, some outdoor, and natural mud you can apply to your face and body to detox. Honestly, the description doesn't even do it justice - you've just got to see the photos. Crystal blue, green, water, bright blue sky, and the red-brown mountains.... flowers, palm trees, alamo trees, aloe plants... absolutely not to be missed if you are in Mendoza!
