My two girlfriends and I had a pretty terrible customer service experience with your staff yesterday at your beautiful spa.
Firstly, in general, your staff are unsmiling and impatient.
We arrive, and are greeted, but not in a particularly friendly fashion. Fine.
Then, we get upstairs and are dealing with the lockers. We are several women in there at once, and the bracelet system gets very confused and bug-y - one woman scans, opens a locker, puts her things in. But then as another woman scans her bracelet, she is given the same locker as the first woman, and the first woman can no longer open her locker.
This happens several times, to where my friend and I have to go all the way downstairs to the reception, in only our bathrobes, to get help.
Your staff is again pretty rude, telling us that this isn't possible - which is ridiculous, as otherwise we would obviously not be standing there, wasting 40 minutes of valuable spa time, in our bathrobes.
We are a bit impatient, because the colleagues are taking their sweet time to get someone to help, so we are rudely told that they are working on it for us, but they are very busy. Again, keeping in mind we are standing there in bathrobes down in the lobby.
Finally they tell us go back upstairs and wait for someone to help - but she will be a while, so we will have to wait.
During the rest of our stay, things are ok, but your waitress was pretty spacey and didn't really understand what was going on.
We asked for chili and garlic, which did not happen, and in general, she was pretty blank as we ordered.
Finally, we have to depart, and we complain about the issues that have happened.
Your staff says we are sorry, but what do we want them to do about it, which is obviously a very rude way to phrase it.
I say we want some sort of compensation, and we are able to speak to the manager. We explain the whole thing again, and still this customer service manager says there is nothing she can do.
I have worked in the service industry. I know it costs you nothing to take off some drinks or something of a 200 euro bill; and it adds huge value to have a happy customer.
But all we got was, sorry, we can't help you. Bye.
The spa itself is beautiful - but your employees are terrible at customer service.
We have only ever experienced the citizens of your wonderful country as being professional, friendly and overall excellent.
And yet at one of the nicest spas in the city, this is the service we receive.
It is unacceptable and obviously extremely bad for your business.
I would suggest you think about your training methods and allowing your service staff to compensate unhappy customers.
You have lost some customers with this terrible experience.
Perhaps that means nothing to you, but that is a grave mistake.
