Best Alpine destinations for foodies – and what to eat - SilverKris

"A hotel kitchen that highlights local produce, serving Valle Spluga’s air‑dried bresaola as well as a gourmet polenta dish paired with rabbit — classic northern Italian alpine flavours showcased in a resort setting." - SilverKris

Nice and quiet hotel in a perfect location. Ski room may require small improvement. Summarizing: perfect hotel. Unfortunetely we were not lucky with weather: foggy and rainy. Good wellness area with swimming pool, saunas and jacuzzi made our stay easier in rainy and foggy days.

This is a hotel run by a family and staff who cannot do enough for you. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The food is amazing and incredibly generous and the drinks are varied and reasonably priced. It is 1 minute from the ski hire place - Deghi Sport via Skiset - and the Arlecchino lift and a 5-10 minute easy stroll into town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone. Also great for families as there were plenty of people with children and dogs staying there, lots of parking and a small spa for anyone who is not skiing or for apres ski! Go and stay!

A fabulous stay. A warm welcome always awaits (this is our 4th stay) the staff are always very accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. |The food is spectacular and the hotel is spotless. |The spa and pool are a welcome relaxing break from the slopes. |Very family friendly and well located. Cannot fault this hotel!

Having just returned again from this fabulous hotel and had another great experience am not going to write a rambling report just point out some of the best points! We were here for two weeks skiing and had a great holiday. The hotel is without doubt the best, The food is absolutely stunning cooked to a very high standard by Andreas. The food is inventive and beautifully presented and just so tasty. All the staff and family look after you so well.Great atmosphere and friendly. The rooms are both spacious and well equipped and very comfortable. Very well positioned with a very short walk to the nursery slope.A lovely spa facility to relax in after skiing. All in all just a superb hotel in a beautiful Italian village.

I first visited this hotel 11 years ago now and I have returned every year since at least once because not only is the location great in my favourite holiday destination. But the staff and owners of the hotel are amazing, polite, generous and all around amazing people. The hotel has a heated swimming pool and well as a spa complete with jacuzzi, sauna, steam rooms and more perfect for relaxing. For trips made in the winter it is less than a 5 minutes walk from the ski slopes, and has its own ski and boot room where you can store your equipment. The hotels rooms are traditional and well kept and the restaurants food is beautiful with multiple choices. And should the hotel restaurant not meet your demands next door is a Michelin star restaurant owned and run by one of the hotel owners sons. Overall I rate this hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ And would definitely recommend a visit.

We have spent two fabulous Ski holidays at Hotel Andossi, and will be returning again next year! It is a family run hotel, where nothing is too much trouble, staff our attentive, helpful and so accommodating. It is a real hidden gem and we can't wait to return.

It may not be a ski-in ski-out type of place but it is conveniently located with easy access to slopes and town although for serious skiers, or serious apres skiers I would look elsewhere. If what you're looking for is excellent service delivered with charm and efficiency in a relaxed atmosphere, both in the hotel and on the slopes, then look no further. We went in early March and compared to other resorts the place was empty.

We had a junior suite at this hotel quite by surprise which was lovely loads of room and two balconies overlooking the piste. The rooms was very light and loads of space with a bedroom, sitting room, bathroom, entrance room and two balconies.||There is a mini bar in the room which is very reasonable. The Food is exceptional, we had intended to visit the Mitchelin star restaurant in Madesimo but the food was so good at the Andossi we decided not to bother. The spa was lovely and very relazing.||I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and hope to visit again some day.
