Hotel Andreas is a beautiful hotel/hostel/B&B tucked away in the windy roads of old town Rhodes. Make sure you request a pick up at the airport by the hosts, it is worth it, we would have never found it otherwise. We stayed in room #18, it's small but looks exactly like the photos. The big selling point was the shared balcony. My husband and I enjoyed sitting out there in the morning and evenings overlooking Rhodes town and the ocean. Our bathroom was private but wasn't attached to the room. We were fine with that, bathrobes were provided. One of our favorite things is that the hosts offer free wine at sunset on the patio. Rhodes at sunset is amazing. ||I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for a few nights. More like a BnB with your own bathroom. The inn keeper lady was very nice and helpful. She would serve us a very lovely breakfast every morning on the roof top patio. The views of the old town and the coast of Turkey in the distance where great. It was somewhat hard to find at first. We did the mistake of getting there on our own from the airport. It's up on top of the mountain and quite the climb dragging luggage. Taxi cabs can't make it there because the streets are to small. I would recommend taking them up on their shuttle pickup offer that brings you right to the hotel. Very quiet at night to sleep. One more thing...no TV...but good WIFI.

Our teenagers won't stay anywhere without wifi and we want atmosphere and a bit of history and it doesn't get much better than this. The location in the Old Town is fantastic, you really get the experience of going back in time without all the noise that comes from the streets closer to the port. We loved breakfast and Craig's tips, his beach recommendations were spot on. David helped us with pickups and car hire - for the record we were very happy with the car from Butterfly. We made it back for sunset drinks on the terrace most days which was a treat. Overall a great place to stay. Cannot recommend more strongly. Hope we can make it back soon!

My mate found this Pension in the Lonely Planet guidebook as a "little known" but great spot, so we booked for August 2017. It was gorgeous and charming, a way of inviting visitors to participate in the ancient history of Old Town. This converted home was once used by Ottaman royalty. It still has the feel, but with great A/C. We got the room Lonely Planet advises, at the top with it's own balcony overlooking the city, and spent mornings and evenings there relaxing, drinking wine and enjoying the view. ||Because of it's age, it is a different place and may not be for you, the bathrooms are not modern, for example. But it was the best place we stayed at in Greece. The hostess, Suzanne, helped us navigate the city and bus lines to see this beautiful island and take in all the beaches. Steps away from the Pension is the most fantastic seafood restaurant ever. The Pension, as with anything in Old Town, is not easy to find, so I suggest you contact them directly to book and to help arrange transport, etc. ||We stayed 5 nights in August, saw Old Town, bussed to Lindos, went diving, relaxed and found lots of beaches to visit within 15 minutes.

Home away from home! We were visiting from Australia and stayed 5 nights at the Andreas. Absolutely loved it, it’s so quaint and personal. The house itself has a interesting story behind it, being an old ceramic factory. It has traces of Greek and Turkish design throughout, with a mix of modern and historic. Unintentionally, the Andreas is very trendy. Breakfast in the courtyard with pomegranate trees and lavender all around. And a terrace with a view of the entire old city. A lovely boutique hotel with a very kind host. Cannot wait to go back!

A unique little hotel/b & b with helpful hosts, David and Craig. Great view from terrace with simple but wholesome breakfast. We weren't told about drinks on terrace in afternoon, and that would have been nice. Room 7 was very dark (no natural light) and bed quite uncomfortable, but overall a nice couple of days in beautiful Rhodes.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Hotel Andreas for 7 nights in the middle of September. We had a wonderful holiday made all the better for waking up to a delicious breakfast on the hotel's beautiful terrace. Tucked away high up on the quieter southern end of the Old Town, the view from the terrace is breathtaking. We stayed in Room 12, which is the cheapest option, but was cosy and full of character, featuring wooden beams across the ceiling and an old stone fireplace (plus mirror, sink, toilet, shower, wardrobe, drawers and 3 single beds). There was also a mini fridge, which was kindly replenished with bottles of water each morning. We were warmly welcomed by Humberto, who was always willing to stop and chat, giving us lots of helpful tips on how to spend our days. He was both friendly and professional. Unfortunately we didn't catch the name of the lady who served us breakfast each morning, but she was also very friendly - we are grateful to her tolerance of us being the last to get up every morning! Finally, the hotel provides an airport pickup and drop off service, which was hugely helpful and well organised. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Andreas!

I stayed at Andreas for one nights in early July 2016 with a friend. We had a great experience. The room was charming and clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom / water pressure was modern, air con worked, a great view from the large balcony (with a table & chairs) overlooking the bay. It was the perfect location - just above the old town with tavernas and everything else, but quiet & peaceful. The owner, Humberto, is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.
