We spent one night at the Andro Apartments as this accommodation is also called, on the way back to Sofia and the airport. The owner is friendly and helpful, the accommodation was clean with comfortable twin beds, a full size fridge is provided along with some crockery and cutlery.||||Lots of TV channels, but only one in English, AMC which shows old American movies with Bulgarian subtitles. The shower room and loo were clean but after you get used to the space in Bulgarian wet room showers, a small shower cubicle is a little disappointing. Breakfast was a large jam and vanilla cream croissant with a mug of coffee, possibly not to everyone's taste.||||There are one or two parking spaces in the driveway, but we parked in the street outside, a little narrow but no problems. Those looking for a full meal can walk down the road and turn right... a five to ten minute walk (past the giant snail building, you can't miss it!) eventually brings you to a Billa supermarket and a couple of restaurants and the area is on the very outskirts of Sofia, having a more village look and character. ||||The drive to the airport is straightforward and takes about 15 minutes outside of rush hour. A useful stopover at a modest price for capital city accommodation.
